Black dipped paws dipping into the softer ground at a quickened pace the owner of the limbs seemed to be rushing forward. Not quite a run, but faster than a leisurely walk for sure. The creature was that of a male wolf, most notable of a fact was that he was alpha of Corsul. Yet he wasn't within his own lands. No not even close. He was far too south of them to even be considered safe. He was also alone, or alone as far as he could tell. Yet he wanted to be alone. He had traveled so south of his border and his pack so that he might find some time of peace and quiet. There he was just wandering around aimlessly, he didn't even have his nose to the ground or his ears to the wind searching for danger. No danger was not within his own understanding. He didn't feel threatened by the soft coastal breeze that seemed to be climbing off the waterfalls of the great lake before him.
He felt no danger within the tree line, or beneath his feet. Ah no, he was...completely alone. And thus he stopped. His paws outstretching into the grainy earth trying to keep himself balanced. With his head held to the sky he felt himself smile. Ah, alone at last. He felt free, free of the shackles of his duty, free of the worries of his life. Free of anything and everything. Yet as soon as those thoughts raced through his mind he seemed to frown. Now feeling a sense of guilt for leaving Savah all alone and not even telling her where he had roamed he didn't want her to worry about him. Savah being his new beta female and one of his most promising members of his very own pack. Oh dear, the thought of even having a pack was still so surreal and amazing to him it was still difficult to understand and clasp within his senses. He had lived by himself most of his life, certainly he had a set of ground rules but for the most part he was his own being.
Free to roam and get himself into trouble only to get himself out he felt himself chuckle. A soft guffaw escaping from his maw he immediately gulped it down as his heart now tugging itself down. Tremor... Sorek found it increasingly difficult to feel free and wild when Tremor could be in danger! Sorek instinctively scented the air. He was here....somewhere. He had to hope he was alright. Oh he was certain he was. After all Tremor might not have been the best hunter, or even the quickest learner but he was certainly big and strong. Sorek confided in the idea that he was holding on his own and he hadn't lost his way and been eaten by the monster whom reigned up north. Ah but these thoughts were moot now. Sorek's cranium shaking left and right physically removing these negative thoughts from his mind he was going to relax if it killed him! And it more than likely would considering how careless he was being. He didn't even check if he was being followed or stalked.
Ah but who would stalk him, it wasn't like he was infamous or anything. He snorted at the idea, a devious smirk twitching onto his muzzle. Him, world renowned? Please he didn't want to make himself laugh now. Bright yellow orbs staring out at the waterfall before him he felt a sense of joy swirl in his stomach. He just wanted to run through the water like a fool! And that's just what he was going to do. His inner thoughts working up the idea of him being a heroic hero of old charging through the very ocean itself to save his one true love he giggled at his own concept and darted from the bank where he had previously been standing on into the six inch deep water. His paws splashing violently as he pranced about his tail wagging high and quick. He squealed in surprise to find that the water was bitterly cold despite the mildly warm day. His limbs kicking up large splashes of water that seemed to coat his entire underbelly with liquid he was soaking himself without even realizing it.
Round and round he pranced and ran. His paws shimmying left and right he wasn't even sure where he was going anymore. He continued to wade in the water without actually realizing it. The cool liquid now up to his stomach his shoulders and entire side as well as his rump and now his tail were all weighted down with water as his bright blue pelt began to darken with moisture. He was now only inches away from the waterfall snapping his jowls at imaginary enemies of all sorts, shapes and sizes alike when the cool rush of liquid bombarded him nearly toppling him over in shock. He restrained himself just enough only to fall onto his back as the wave of liquid drenched his entire person. He yelped in surprise landing on his back with a smack rather than a thud as he sank into the small depths of the pools. He stared up at the cascading water now pinning his neck down with a happy smile on his face.
Fantasizing about his pretend love he felt like a pup again. And in spirit and heart he certainly was one. His soaking tail creating small ripples which later turned into waves he was certainly happy. He merely lay there for a few moments before hoisting himself up and allowing the water to fall against his back. His body shuddering at the cool water reacting to his otherwise warm pelt he shook his head releasing the excess liquid from his head down to his shoulders and across his back up to his soggy appendage of a tail. He merely stood there now. His tongue lolling out of his mouth as he certainly felt foolish. But he was enjoying himself. He stood there for what felt like an eternity. Clearing his mind and his body of any toxins as he felt entirely calm now it seemed. His eyes closed as his ears pulled back he was completely at east. And entirely vulnerable. Ah he was certainly foolish, but he cared not.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,320,true] | [atrb=background,http://i51.tinypic.com/mtm3gh.png] She was bounding forward with speed; her lanky paws allowing her body to slip through the small tree's with ease. Her eyes held a determined remark. She was running from what she had left in a heap of mess on the forest floor. The blood had already stained her once white coat; and she felt a naughty pleasure in the deed. So what, for once she had let them control her, just for once she had completely lost control.
Her ears were pulled back in a rage, her eyes narrowed as she came to a surrounding water and stopped in her tracks. Evidence of her latest crime could be spotted so easily; and the water could hide it, hide it all. She was ashamed of herself really, not scared of what others would think. If any wolf might see her, they'd think she had tracked down some medium game, not slaughtered a defenseless wolf. Anyway it wasn't my fault... she tried to convince herself, Lie They screamed back, and she knew it. She knew it all, the same old song and dance. She sneered coldly, thinking of her first naughty sin; her mother. Such a beautiful specimen, laying there with eyes stoic and frozen in time.
Her memory could easily be tampered with; so she shook of the thought, and looked around the landscape. Her nose drew in a scent that drew her attention; and than noise. Splashing, and flailing and excitement. Her cranium tilted; giving a slight snort before starting an advance on the water. She could see it now; blue and bright like the blue he so played in. He was near a waterfall, spewing it's liquid almost like a mouth. Cyanide smirked at his playful manner; she approached with a dangerous saunter, as if she had a dark intent. Which; she usually did of course. Irritation was written on her face, as she reached the edge and stuck her face into the water, sampling the depth and taste.
She didn't exactly want to interrupt the male's meandering, but she herself slipped into the water, although definitely not as deep as the boy. She was more on the shallow edge, watching quietly as the blood drew from her coat and dressed the water with a delicious red. She was silent as he moved and closed his eyes, maybe she wouldn't disturb him... Not.
Someone might come along and decide to take advantage of a young wolf, like yourself you know. She hissed suggestively; laughing coldly. Deciding he could take the comment anyway he wanted. Someone might become a little hungry; someone like myself... She rasped, mocking him. She was just playing, testing his temper. She pulled a paw forward and drew it threw the water; dredging more blood to mix into the liquid. All this time her face remained settled, calm. She felt no threat with him, although he did reek of another packs scent, he was in no spot to fight; considering the land she had stepped into had no scents, it was a free loner's turf. Something she enjoyed from time to time.

Sorek was certainly delirious. Quietly humming to himself he must have been out of his mind to go wandering out onto uncharted territory without someone to back him up. He couldn't even begin to imagine the horrors that walked onto the land, unclaimed or not there was no way to be certain whether or not he would be safe. But perhaps it was the danger of it all that made him feel so adventurous. Yes he knew all about the dangers of loners and even those who claimed themselves within packs preying upon innocents without a care in the world. The mere thought of having someone so vile or cruel step in on him was beyond his mental ideals though. No way was he going to encounter such a violent force in which he would have to turn tail and run away from. He wasn't going to fight, he just wasn't meant for it.
All of these thoughts quietly drained from his mind as he continued to enjoy his bath. Though now he was just getting far too cold. Stepping out from beneath the water he was now behind it feverishly shaking his body of the water. His childish smile and mindset still prominent he felt happy. For what seemed like so long now he had only worries and woes to plague him. But now, here, within an element so beautiful and fun he was all smiles and no frowns. Yet that was of course, until he thought he heard something. His weighted down ears, although floppy and slick were now alert. Yet the rush of the falls seemed to have alerted him far too late. There was a faint sound of thundering across the plains yet he payed little mind to it. Just another passing through he chalked it up to anyway. He wasn't entirely sure he was even with company anyway.
Not that company was scorned or unwanted, no the young male welcomed others from all backgrounds it seemed. His softhearted behavior might so much as welcome Nahani himself to enjoy an afternoon with Sorek without even realizing it. Ah but that just wouldn't happen, oh no he was going to not even think about such a preposterous thought. His yellow eyes staring out trying to focus on movement to determine if it was just his over active imagination playing tricks on him or actual facts of another within the premises. Even through the violent rush of the falls he seemed to notice something not quite right. There was a white blur approaching. He paid no mind to it however, just another loner come to drink he supposed. His mind now interlocking with his inner child once again he now found it most amusing to snap at the water particles falling ever so close to his muzzle.
Just as he had began his own little game a voice flooded into his ears making him stop mid snap. His jowls opened wide his eyes now just as bright he eyed the unknown white figure from before now seemingly closer. The way she spoke seemed to be most odd. It wasn't even the cold calculated way she spoke, it was more the words that seemed to cause mass confusion and alarm within Sorek's cerebrum. Come and take advantage of him? What sort of silly comment was that. Sorek merely smiled, and although he could not see the other very clearly through the falls he stuck his head through acknowledging that it was indeed a female whom had directed her statement at him. His testosterone infused being now tingling with nerves he felt the need to blush. To look away and pretend he could disappear into the water. But alas he did not. Instead he did a most bold thing and stepped through the falls once again soaking himself.
There he stood in the more deep end of the natural water source staring at the unknown being before him. It was a she, that much he could determine but her scent was something he was having trouble placing. He did not know any other packs outside of his own and thus the concoction of others scents and hormones was an unpleasant intrusion within his nostrils. Yet he merely smiled at the unknown female. His tail swaying behind him. He wasn't quite sure how to respond to the odd white females words and thus he only managed a chuckle. Although it was mutated with nervousness and unease he just wasn't sure how he should feel around her. It wasn't like she was being threatening, snarling and all that nonsense at him. She merely remarked, he was young yes...And yes he supposed others could take advantage of him. Yet he wasn't quite sure how. Oh no his innocent mind wasn't quite filled with those sinister thoughts it would seem.
He didn't quite think in sex and blood. He was much more of a butterflies and flowers kind of guy. It was just his naive brain's lack of experience he supposed. He tilted his head at her next remark. Hungry like herself? Well how would being hungry and being taken advantage of make any sense to anyone!? Sheesh she sure did speak in riddles. Ah the poor boy far too ignorant to understand what she truly meant, the perhaps malice or even lust behind such tones he merely grinned. His lips peeling back revealing his canines he chuckled, his uncertainty getting the better of him. "Well gee miss you must certainly be hungry 'cause you have blood all over your pretty white pelt...Er I mean...that's...that's not what I meant. It's just uh...you looked like you already ate. So I don't know what kind of meal I could offer you." He tried to re-frame his sentence having horribly fumbled with it yet failing ever so miserably.
Alas, just when he thought he could put his guard down someone else came to keep him on his toes. And he thought only Savah had that power over him. Boy was he learning a lot about himself and being around others. Hmm, perhaps being alpha really wasn't going to be good for him. He wasn't sure he was ready or even cracked up for this kind of responsibility. It was all so overwhelming and it certainly was affecting his social skills. "Ah Forgive my horrible manners. I just wasn't expecting any company. I'm Sorek, it's a pleasure to meet you miss..." He allowed his statement to fall to the wind, hoping she would fill in her name and be just as kind and nice as he had been. Which was unlikely, everyone he seemed to meet out here had some sort of attitude about them. He never seemed to find someone with manners, oh no everyone had their own agenda of crazy to deal with first. Even so, what else was new? He shouldn't expect kindness just because he was willing to give it. Silly him.

She lifted her head gently; transfixing her eyes upon his white and blue mug. She listened as he finished speaking and he seemed nervous, around her? Well, he had all the right to be.
Cyanide dipped her tail into the pool, watching as it became heavy and impossible to carry around. She decided than, to wade closer to him. She didn't utter a word, just made a gentle approach. She veered slightly and stepped over into the turrent of water; allowing it to fall harshly onto her fur. Washing the remains of the red tarnish away. She quivered uncomfortably, and than uttered a light laugh.
Well, Sorek. How can you bare this? A joke; light-hearted in all fairness. Maybe she'd try a different approach, it wasn't like anyone was hanging around. His words were vomiting politeness; which was the complete opposite of her, and her head sat trying to handle all his innocence. Ever heard of... a canni-- Well, nevermind that. You can call me Cyanide. And no; I just had a little snack, not to long ago. She didn't want to be the one to break it to him, so she decided to loosely prance over the topic.
She sauntered away from the waterfall again; and stood in the more open depth. So; seems like we're both far from our homes. What brings you here? She purred, tugging her heavy tail down as she shifted herself a little way. Although she hadn't an idea where he had come from; it was pretty obvious he wasn't a rouge.

Nervous? No Sorek wasn't nervous...Oh gosh no he certainly wasn't! No he was terrified. That might put it more deliberately into perspective. Not particularly at the female, although with each step that she seemed to draw closer to him his fur felt rather itchy and he was uneasy. He didn't exactly have the best moral compass in terms of reading other people. No far too young and incompetent for that his mind was already ablaze with conceptions of what would happen to him if he were to remain alpha. When that thought seemed to trickle into his mind it bit hard on his doubt and made him feel very uncertain of the unknown. He wasn't really the smartest one in the bunch, he knew that certainly. He knew many of his weaknesses, yet he had so many he hardly had time to focus on his strengths. At least that made him more levelheaded, he could see the flaws in arguments.
Ah but the foolish doubt that clawed at his brain made him want to shout in defiance at his ideas that he couldn't run his pack. He may have been young and...well..live partially in reality but he could still run a pack! Geeze, just because reality bit something nasty and his mind seemed to wander as though it was the wind itself didn't mean he was competent. Ah if only he wasn't so young though, if only he had experience around others. The weight of responsibility was certainly weighing down on the young male and it was starting to affect his judgment. Really, honestly what was he thinking merely wandering around out of his pack lands alone. He supposed it seemed like a good idea at the time finding a spot to relax and clear his head. Yes that was a good idea at the time indeed, yet now when he was all out alone, targeted and vulnerable he wanted to hit the reset button on his life and stop himself from stepping over his borders. Stupid stupid one track mind, why didn't he think of the consequences sooner?
Perhaps because he didn't predict any. Ah no, he merely saw it as fun in the sun, no one to interrupt his play and bathing and yet now, there was a rather blunt intrusion upon his otherwise happy fantasy world. And it was making his tail curl beneath him in worry. Yet maybe he was being too hasty. It wasn't like she was moving in any threatening direction toward him. Yet the words she spoke earlier and the way her pelt was tarnished with crimson made him uncertain. It wasn't a prejudice it was just...well he suspected it would be what a normal wolf would do. Cautious and careful, yet he wasn't like that. What sense was there in living with one's head in the sand? Living was meant to be free and vibrant, colorful and fun! And that was just the way he was damn well going to try to be. Shaking off his utter distress and flaking ease he smiled toward her. His brow perking in interest as she approached.
It was subtle, ever so slow and it made him stare not quite sure what to do. He felt his throat tickle as he had the urge to laugh, an obnoxious noise to fill the void of silence that had been placed upon the two ever since he had inquired her name, just without asking. And yet she seemed ever so keen on drawing closer to him without so much as uttering who she was toward him. He tilted his muzzle back and shut one eye carefully eyeballing her out of his single orb watching as she drew closer in a slow and slackened pace. What on earth was she doing anyway? If this was some sort of...no he wouldn't think of that now! Oh gosh the mere thought of that would send him reeling with a bright blush on his face. No he just wasn't going to think about that right no, no sir! He gulped as he very nearly took a strong step back when she vanished from his line of site.
She had managed to maneuver over to the waterfall soaking her previously stained pelt with a clear liquid freeing her from the previously red mixture. He merely smiled innocently at her, even so much as managed a half wag before she asked him how he managed to withstand the water. He let out a laugh and sheepishly shrugged his shoulders. He honestly wasn't focusing on how cold it was, not when there were pretend monsters to slay and princesses to rescue! Ah but it seemed play time was over, and his peculiar colored pelt, although thick and fluffy was no pressing down on his already tense muscles and making him feel the slight breeze head on. If he had been dry it would have been pleasant, but as he stood now, dripping wet and water logged it was most certainly not something he wanted. He shook his pelt roughly sending water droplets flailing about falling back into the body of water they had originally derived from.
Sorek merely stared at her, listening intently as she began to ask a question but promptly decided against it. This caused his head to tilt in curiosity, quite cute although he was rather confused trying to place what she had said with what she wanted to ask. "Canni what? Uncanny...Canny? Can of worms? Can!? Sheesh she could have at least finished the word before moving on." Sorek pouted to himself. The word cannibal just didn't cross his mind, he certainly wasn't in the mind set nor did he even have the notion that she could be! Oh that was simply preposterous in Sorek's mind and it didn't even seem to cross it once. Not when he thought long and heard about it trying to place different words and such. Nope, cannibal just didn't seem to roll anywhere within his thought pattern. Alas the poor blustered fool. He merely nodded toward her when she introduced herself and watched as she waded further away from him.
She certainly was...odd? No that wasn't the right word it was just...she was quite a character. Inching closer to him only to veer off away from him. Did he offend? Sorek quickly took a whiff of his side to make sure he didn't quite have the scent of someone's backside and found it a pleasant surprise to find that he smelled of rain water itself. He certainly found her name interesting though. Cyanide, it sounded dangerous..as though a snake's poison. Fitting for one who gave off the utter ideal of danger. Sorek wasn't quite sure what, but he had a very odd feeling about this female. There was just something not quite normal about her. Ah well! He wouldn't put much thought into that past that point. After all, he was certain he appeared beyond strange to most others. What with his gallivanting and prancing around at all hours of the night. Ah sweet childish fun.
His head nodded in a most surprised fashion when Cyanide spoke of eating just a snack. Hmm, quite a bit of blood for just a little rabbit or something but what did he know? It wasn't like he recorded how much the prey he had eaten in the past had bled so he couldn't quite remark. Perhaps there was even a bit of a struggle, or maybe a larger animal that she hadn't quite the appetite to snack on. But then...Why would she mention about needing more food? Were all females this complicated? Oh goodness he wasn't sure he could take all of these mind games if this was how all females were. He found himself sinking into the shallow waters below sitting on his haunches with his shoulders hunched over. His yellow orbs staring at the white female as she seemed to turn to more small talk. He put on his best smile and shrugged nonchalantly. "I was just...having a bit of a walk. It's certainly a nice day, thought I'd go for a swim. How about you?"
