PERSONALITY!;
Disoto is a closed off character. He has long since made himself blank to many of those around him other than one female. He is a cold wolf and has no need for others and he often lets them know that right off. The large male is often so closed off that he is near rude, but that does not bother him in the least bit. He is not outgoing and would much rather be alone on the outside of the group. He is strong minded and it takes a lot to phase him.

The idea clicks across my vision, making it hard to see. Move to the right. Now left. Watch your ass, you scum. Never know what might be back there. I find it hard to believe that I have come this far in such a short amount of time. It would be nice to know exactly where the hell I am. I smell her everywhere. The air. It is perfumed with her, but I have no idea where I can find her. A twig snaps. I turn, glaring into the eyes of a total stranger. I let a warning escape my lips in the form of a growl. They do not back down and I release another warning. It is currently a time of peace and I want nothing to do with another battle. Fighting is no longer in me. I need time off.
The sun blinks.
Hysteria stands alone in a forest, surrounded by no one. He is utterly alone except for the occasional squak of a bird that flies overheard, screeching of the coming storm. Nothing to be too concerned with, however. A simple thunderstorm is all. The sky grows darker and he is staring at an empty patch of bushes. He removes himself from his crouch and turns away, continuing his wander through the dense forest undertow. He flicked aside the occasional rock and bites into a twig, snapping it between his jaws. The pressure feels good, knowing that he can still kill with a single movement. The power is reassuring, even if he may never return to the front line of battle. Generals do not belong there and besides, perhaps it was time to settle down. That was why he was here, was it not?
He shrugs his shoulders and his hope begins to fade away. Is there a chance of finding her? Even if he did find her, would she ever take him back after what he did? He left her alone, after promising that he would never leave without telling her. He did just that. Without so much as a hint that he was leaving, Hysteria left her and his entire life behind without a second thought because he was chasing after the glory days. The mind works in mysterious ways, but the heart even more so.
Lights fizzle and pop.
”Who’s there?” I demand, my voice cold. I snarl again and turn to find the stranger once more. ”Who are you?” I snap, my voice sharp and angry. I have no intentions of leaving here without destroying this monster. I raise an eyebrow as he motions me to follow. Perhaps that is not the best of ideas, but I do it anyway. He seems to be no threat to me. He is tiny and I am not. I could crush him with a single paw, considering it is already the side of his head.
I follow the stranger through the brush and I find myself choking at the site I see. There she is, snuggled into another male. I turn away and cough, attempting not to vomit and I storm away from the scene.
Soon I am running, sprinting, bringing myself closer to the edge of the cliff.
I jump.
Lightning flashes and thunder cracks.
Hysteria stands on the edge of the thousand foot high cliffs, looking down with a weary eye at the airport below. He scrambles back, regaining his footing safely. His heart thunders in his chest and he swallows hard, blinking away tears he did not know where there. Looking up, he sees the storm has descended upon him without him knowing. Looking over his shoulder, he narrows his eyes at the forest behind him. There is nothing there, and he knows it, but the thought of her with someone… No. It was his mind playing tricks on him once again.
He returned to look out over the forest, watching the way it curled and twisted, mangled against the rocks below. The massive wolf sighed and allowed his head to hang in a moment of self pity. He questioned his reasoning behind being here often, but things were beginning to look more and more bleak as time went on.
The white wolf stood and began to pace along the edge of the cliff, though he kept his footing slow and sure. His mind wanted to fly into the icy, dark, unforgiving wilderness, but he did not. He had no intentions of going over the cliff. Not today anyway. Not while he was able to think correctly. Hysteria leaned over the edge once more, measuring the distance. He shuddered and backed away, placing his rump on the ground and letting his tail lay beside him, the tip occasionally rising, only to fall back to the earth. Soon a pattern was born. He clicked his tongue and watched the storm come closer until the rain began to fall.
A twig snatches his paw.
I turned to my left, looking deeper into the forest, my chest heaving from my recent run. I looked over my shoulder, wondering what I had been running from. There was no one here and I shrugged my shoulder and continued to scan the forest with narrow and cautious eyes. Something was in there, lurking, hiding away from me. It was waiting for me to make a false move so it could attack me, but I am not naive. I expect attacks now and I welcome them as a chance to continue my work in the world. I fear them not.
A figure moves in the brush and I turn my entire body towards whatever moves. A shadow lurks through the forest, watching me and I remain still. I lower myself to the ground, ready, feeling my muscles contract as they await my next moment.
There. My muscles expand, releasing their tension and sending me through the air towards my target. Anger burns in my chest and I feel as though I am on fire, but I do not care. All I want is flesh between my jaws. I sail through the air, a snarl ripping apart the soundwaves as I barrel into the black wolf that haunts me constantly. "Damn you! Damn you to Hell for your tourture of me and my family! I will kill you for what you have done to me!"
Rain falls quickly.
Hysteria finds himself back in the jungle and he sighs heavily. Standing straight, he turns back around and walks to the edge of the cliff once more and he eyes the airport carefully, scanning the area before he begins his decent. His muscles tighten and expand with each step he takes as he winds his way down the cliff. His ears twitch, listening for sounds that signal danger. Is it possible that there is much that he does not see?
The massive male finds himself walking to the clear water. It draws him in closer and he sighs with great relief as the water cascades over his paws. He lowers his head, lapping the water in slow, long draws before raising his head again. The rain has begun to fall harder now and his flattens his ears against his skull in distaste. The annoying plunk of drops going into his ears was enough to drive him more insane. But what did he know of that? Nothing. He was unaware of the moments when he lost himself to his disease. Even now, he does not question how he came to this place, but knows that he is in fact here.
He turns away from the water and retreats to the shelter of the plane and sits himself under the wing. Thunder rumbles overhead and he shakes himself dry to the best of his ability before sitting and watching the sky darken and light up.
