He's neither Light or Dark but shows qualities of each. He's selfish and sometimes arrogant and careless but he always tries to do the right thing. He's completely loyal to the Alpha who rules him and very territorial. He follows the rules of his ancestors of pack boundaries and disciplines those who don't. He's looking to settle down with a family; the greatest thing that can happen to a wolf and hopes to start a family.

He was born the Alpha of his litter, three males and three females. It also didn't help that he was his father's favorite. He quickly grew in ranks, putting even pack members in their place. He was always trying to please his corrupt father and was forced to one day turn on his sister and kill her, even though she was large with pups. He even betrayed his favorite brother's trust and got him and his mother exiled just to prove to his father he was worry, even if it did break his heart. He went looking for his mother and brother months later, the guilt eating him alive. When he found his mother dead and his brother missing, he began to see the destruction he had caused trying to prove himself. He returned to his pack and challenged his father. If he won, he and his pack had to leave, never to return. If his father won, he would leave and never return.
The battle lasted a whole three days before Leto finally brought down his father along with an Empire and a Generation. Finally, Leto was free of his father's tyranny and corruption and the land was able to breathe again. He left the pack in the hands of his other brother a year later and came here, seeking a new life; to forget everything that reminded him of his past life and hopefully find the love he had been searching for. But, unable to disspell the way he acts, he still carries with him a piece of his past that he's haunted by.
