A sight, but not a sound was made from Koara as she carried her way toward another pack land. She had left her home land and didn't realize it as she was deeply lost in thoughts. A dead halt killed her thoughts as she rose her cranium and looked around herself for the first time in so long. She was deep into the core of the new territory and fully trespassed her way in. Ooops! Koara back up a few feet, and stepping on a twig made her heart jump within her chest. She bolted herself to look behind her with a vicious snarl, and full out bared hooks, as bristles rose upon spine. A grin spread across her muzzle as her hues read of torment and danger.
Snapping her cranium forth to look ahead of herself once more , she looked deeply and as far as her hues could seek. All she saw was a long extended valley, and tress around her. Yep in the middle of a dense forest of pinery. Though it smelled to her liking. Maybe she wasn't to go home and face Nowur after embarring herself like she did. Besides he wouldn't even notice her gone and away if she did never go back. Again her thoughts plagued her, and she stepped forth carrying her weight forward, without a care. She did stop once more as she spotted a grizzly bear grazing next to a tree. It looked as though the bear was eating from the roots of the tree, or perhaps just eating left over honey from his stash.
Locking hues upon the bear as she stood in silence, she lowered her sonars and pinned them to the back of her skull. Her heart raced like a bolt of lightening as fear ripped her soul apart. Lowering her tassel she dared not move or make any sound. The swarthy femme slowly almost cat-like backed away in graceful slow manner, before she was spotted and beaten to death. She managed a few feet or so, and spoiled the moment as the bear happened to lift his snout to the sky and sniff around. The bear drew his crown to look at Koara, and spotted her slowly backing away as they stood several yards away from one another.
Koara's hues went wide and it all happened so fast, she darted away from the bear as she swiftly turned to run. But the bear was fast despite his heavy disposition. He heaved himself over a log and dashed after Koara snarling and growling. Running as fast as she could the bears talons clipped the femme from behind and spun her around with rapid motion that made Koara feel ill to the pit of her stomach. The feeling of being ripped apart, was made but the cut wasn't all that bad. It was more so a smack, but he did penetrate his claws into her rump, and gashed her open.
Koara snapped her jaws forth toward the bear to get him to back off as her tassel flung under her belly in submission. Her hooks collided into the pelt of the bears throat and she latched on as the bear reared up upon hind limbs and shook her off of him. Flying off of the bear Koara, landed upon her mitts. A war he wanted , a war he got. Landing with beauty and grace, Koara lashed out at the bear once more, this time from behind and slammed her hooks into his ass to see how he liked the feeling of being ripped apart. She hung onto him, and jerked her neck from side to side as she shook upon him, then peeled off of him, and rounded herself to face him, but he was rounding himself to slash her from the opposite direction. She just jumped out of the way in a nick of time from his powerful talons and mitts colliding into her once again.
She grinned a sadistic grin as this was becoming fun for her. But she better keep serious. As the bear had his back to her She lept upon his back and latched her for mitts around his shoulders and snapped her hooks into the nape of his neck, connecting under his skin. The bear snarled louder this time and fell upon all fours and jumped upward and snapped his neck and back backward to throw Koara off of him. It worked and Koara fell off once more. She was no match for such a large brute but she tried, and it was all out of self defense. Hell if she could play with the big boys like this, she was able to defend herself agasint anything
She landed again upon her mitts with swiftness, and attacked the bear from behind once more. She had technique, and used it to her full advantage. Snapping her hooks upon the same spot she did once previously, she let go again and rounded herself to face him. The bear was dumbfounded by her actions. He starred at her as he rose his right powerful mitts to her and slashed at her, but missed once more as she dodged the attack, and aimed herself to his belly and under region. She connected her hooks into him and let go, then ran under him and snapped her hooks onto his ass once more and let go again. The bear was getting more angry, as blood fell from him.
Just as Koara was to run around him to do the same thing, she was plotting on jumping at him after she bit once again, but to jump at him from behind, to rip his shoulder blade open. But as she ran around him to face him once more, a massive paw hit her hard across the face, and knocked her up against the tree. Disoriented and confused, Koara shook off the injury, and stood back up upon her pips to defend herself once more. Blood ran down the left side of her cranium, just in front of her left sonar. There was a large open gash, of torn ear, and the side of her face. The bear charged toward her and she moved out of the way in the nick of time. The bear slammed into the tree and Koara jumped upon the bear's back and latched her hooks into the left shoulder blade of the bear s her talons dug into his skin. Using talons and hooks, she slashed like a cougar toward the bear's throat, and fell off of him . The bear shook her off of him as Koara was getting weak from the loss of her own blood. Slamming in a body slam Koara was down, and another slash across her face was made, above her right eye and running donward to her cheek. Her scars were going to be pretty nasty looking if she survived this fight.
However she did put up a good fight with the bear and she had more of a chance of winning then she thought. Feeling her skin rip across her cascade, Koara yelped, and latched her hooks into the fore mitt of the bear as he brought it upward to hit her once more. The bear flung back in pain as Koara crunched as hard as she could. Fighting her way back to her mitts, she lept out of his way, and crashed herself into him, and nipping at his throat. Her hooks slashed several to ten times, and she didn't realize how fast she was biting the bear. As the bear was actually backing off, blood spilled from the bear's throat, and the bear wimped out and turned to run. Amazing how table turn, from just a simple adrenaline rush. Watching the bear turn tail and run, Koara huffed after him, and soon found herself collapse onto the ground after the bear was gone out of sight. Dizzy from the loss of blood she fainted and lay there almost lifelessly, as a pool of blood surrounded her.

It was the smell of blood that caught his attention first. When you're out hunting and you come across the smell of blood, it's hard to resist. The second thing that caught his attention was the roaring and snarling of a bear. Anyone would could bring down a bear was a worth a good chat. However, when the sounds of yipping were heard, his tactics changed and he started sprinting. Apparently this wolf wasn't taking down a bear, it was taking them down. He made a leap over a log before erupting through some pine trees to where they were, just in time to see the bear ambling off and the wolf who had fought with it collapse in a heap onto the ground. Alarmed, he ran forward, nearly slipping in the pool of blood the she-wolf had created from both her and the bear. His heart was racing now. Clearly the female needed medical help from a Healer but his own pack lands were far away. For now, he'd have to be the one to help her.
He was raised in a family with a caring, loving mother and a father who looked to merely use them for his own personal gain. When his father would work him and his siblings too hard, his mother would always be there to nurse their wounds. So the art of healing wounds wasn't unknown to him it was just that he had never healed wounds this bad before. But there wasn't any time to waste. He grabbed her scruff in his mouth as if she were a pup and dragged her to the shade of a nearby tree. He slid underneath a bush to protect them from any other predators, including the bear and quickly laid down beside her. The bush they were under was fairly large and if cleaned out right, could work as a den. He moved a few branches around till there was room for both of them before he began licking her wounds. Slowly, but surely, her wounds began to stop bleeding and he was able to pry the leaves from the branches and use them as bandages till he was sure they would begin the scabbing process. If he did this correctly, she'd have minimal scarring, if any at all.
He took a deep sigh and relaxed. All her wounds were patched and it would only be a matter of time now till she came around again.
