Blood, such an inviting scent to the female. Red ears swiveled atop her head and teal eyes burned brightly with excitement. Her red muzzle dripped with blood as she pulled at the carcass of a young deer. The meat was tender and oh so delicious. She lifted a black paw and placed it on the deer carcass while she looked around. There was noise in the distance, very faint but they definitely sounded familiar. Most likely the sound of other wolves in the area. Her long fur bristled as she stood over her meal, teal eyes searching the surrounding forest. She lifted her blood covered nose and scented the air repeatedly, trying to catch the scents of the other wolves. They were obviously not very close by, most likely the sound of a pack not far off. But she was on unclaimed lands and therefore she was safe.
Once she had checked that everything was safe, she dipped her muzzle back down and tore off another chunk from the carcass. She took her time savoring the taste of the freshly killed deer. Once she had eaten her fill, Chara lifted her muzzle and licked the blood from her lips. If she was a cat she would most likely be purring right now as she cleaned the blood off her lips and teeth. Her muscles completely relaxed as she stepped away from the carcass, stretching out her body. She was full and satisfied, ready to relax now. A long yawn escaped her jaws as she looked around the lands boredly. Her rear plopped down onto the ground, too tired and full to travel anywhere right now. Chara let her front legs slide out from under her body and she rolled onto her side. There was sun shining through the trees and warming her pelt. It was making her feel rather sleepy actually. Her eyes began to slowly close as she relaxed, laying her head down on the soft earth. Ah peace she thought to herself as she lay, sunbathing. Her tail tapped lightly against the ground, showing that she wasn't asleep.
It had been quite some time since she had felt this at peace. Her pups were grown and she left one of her son's in charge of her old lands. She simply didn't want to lead any longer, she had never cared very much for the position. So she traveled, at first her daughter had kept her company. But the little she-devil had disappeared one day without a word. Chara had no idea as to what happened with her other son. But they were all strong wolves and she knew they would be fine. She was happy now, being alone and far away from the crazy brute that had haunted her mind. Though every now and then she still saw those zombie pups, her siblings. But it wasn't as frequently any more. Peace had taken over her life for the moment, and she would be damned if anything would disturb that.

It had been awhile since he had smelled that scent but there was no way in Hell he'd ever forget it. There was no point in pretending to not notice her in these lands because, let's face it, she was, after all, his first love, long before his mind had been changed and deformed by his father's paws. Now she was nothing more than a female he had discarded, knocked up, and allowed to breath life into his pups, who, he was sure, were now all grown up. Not that he had ever cared to go see them, let alone her. She would rather tear her fangs into his still beating heart then have him anywhere near her or her pups. That much was undeniable. And he wasn't going to argue that point. He had done enough to her to forever scar her and hate him and he gave her a respect for that. Any female that could stand up after what he did was truly strong. But what they had was gone now, never to return, but that didn't stop him from hunting her down. She had followed him here from where ever he had left her and that bothered him. If she wanted him gone from her life, then she'd have to move on. These were his lands, his dynasty and having her here as someone to avoid at all costs was not going to happen. He'd chase her off if he had to.
With his nose lifted to the air and his eyes closed, he followed her scent as it danced among the wind currents. It wasn't far off now. He could smell the stench of a rotting corpse and blood now and knew he was getting closer. He was sure the greeting he would get from her would be none too pleasant considering he had done his deed and left her to fend for herself without so much as a sorry or bye, for that matter. Hell, he wasn't expecting to catch up with her or make jokes at their expense but he did hope for some sort of civil-ness in the hopes that moving her along to greener pastures would be easy. Though he knew that wasn't going to happen, as much as he wanted it.
As he cleared the last few yards to where she was, he stopped, drinking in with his eyes why he had fallen for her in the first place. She had the luxurious curves of almost feline proportion and the color of her pelt and eyes almost took his breath away. But he wasn't here to get her back. Oh no. He threw a smirk onto her face and began walking towards her, tail curled up over his back in a confident, no care attitude. "Well, well, well. Thought you never wanted to see me again? Follow me to my own pack lands is not a great start to your promise." He added as he came to a stop before her, the carcass in-between him and her claws.

She had stopped here for a bit of peace and quiet before moving on, but she should have known better. When close to any kind of pack lands peace and quiet seemed to be out of the question. There was always some roaming pack member. She had hoped being outside of the pack lands in neutral territory would give her a little time to herself. But as she lay in the grass, soaking up the suns rays, she caught a faint scent. The scent made her eyes shoot open and she rolled onto her stomach almost immediately. There was no mistake to that horrific scent that now filled her nostrils. Every muscle in her body tensed and her tail lay still on the ground. Her silver tipped ears perked up atop her head, listening intently to her surroundings. Teal blue eyes searched the area around her for any movement. Chara's heart was pounding in her chest with every sniff of the air as the scent grew stronger.
Her claws dug deep into the earth beneath her as her head turned quickly at the sound of his paw steps. Her eyes narrowed as the orange and black figure formed through the trees. A growl started deep within her chest and her fur rose on her back. Just the sight of him made her temper grow like a fire heated with kerosene. She let her growl grow as he stopped and she felt his eyes on her. Her muscles were still tight as she pushed herself up onto her feet and stood glaring at him. She wasn't going to run off, oh no. She would stand her ground in front of this monster that had haunted her nightmares. Her lips twitched around her fangs as the growl rumbled through her chest with her anger. She hated him with every fiber in her being and then some.
Her growl grew loud again as he moved closer with that hideous smirk on his face. The last thing she wanted was for this monster to find her again. Her ears slanted back on her head and she snorted unhappily as he spoke his arogant words. That attitude was something he had so obviously gotten from his father. "Don't flatter yourself. I meant it when I said I never wanted to see you again. These lands do not belong to you, and I certainly did not come here looking for you" she hissed at him. Now she regretted stopping on these lands more then anything. She had never thought in a million years that she would have run into this brute again. But here he stood, with his arogant smirk and dominant stature. He sure did think a lot of himself. She had an urge to sink her fangs into the flesh of his neck and drink down his blood. She had wanted to cause him pain for such a long time. "Either move on and leave me be, or stay and face what you deserve because I don't have time to waste on you" she growled. At this point Chara wanted more then anything for him to leave. But in the back of her mind she was hoping he would stay, so she could tear her fangs into him like she had been waiting to do for a long time.

Just as he had suspected. She was as vicious as a cat with claws extended, just waiting for him to come closer. He merely sat down outside reaching distance and continued to smirk at her, keeping his calm. If he was the one to lose control of his anger, he'd lose control of the situation very quickly. "You're telling me to leave?" He asked her with a surprised laugh. "I live here, bitch. You need to leave and quickly before you have not just me on your heels. Believe me, seeing you now is way too soon. I'd rather never see you again. Clearly, you have wanted to see me again." He teased her. "Otherwise you wouldn't have decided to make this your home."
He noted her flashing fangs and the aggression in her stance and face but he didn't care. Just seeing her revived old feelings but also the feeling where he wanted to rip her throat out with his teeth and glorify in her blood as it would pool on the ground beneath his paws. But, he did have old feelings for her so they were keeping him back from killing her. "I suggest keeping your threats on the down low." he growled. "You aren't necessarily in a position to threaten.I could rip your throat out and no one would care. However, I still can't get over your beauty so I'm going to keep you alive for now." he did a one over with his eyes along her, reminding himself why he had fallen for her in the first place. He had to admit, she had the curves and the looks to attract any male.
"How's the kids?" he sneered, standing up and walking over to her kill she had been eating from and helped himself, tearing a piece of flesh and swallowing it whole before looking back up at her. "You know, I used to have a touch of humanity." he told her. "Back when I first met you. But it's gone now. Sorry for your luck." he told her.

Her muscles tensed more as he made himself more comfortable by sitting. That was the opposite of what she wanted him to do. A soft growl rumbled through her chest again. He certainly knew how to irritate her, that was for sure. "You might live near here, but these are not your lands, so your threats mean nothing to me" she said with her anger clear in her tone. Chara knew that these were not his lands, and in fact they weren't even close to here. The only scents around here were the trees, wild flowers, prey, and a few dull scents of others who have passed through. She rolled her bright teal orbs at his teasing, not amused by him. "This is not my home" she hissed, not that she needed to explain to him. If he wanted to fool himself into thinking she was here for him, well that was his problem not her's. There was only one reason she was here, but she wasn't about to tell him. It was none of his business and it never would be.
Her claws flexed and dug deeper into the earth as her temper grew. She was getting more irritated the longer she stood here with him. She wanted nothing more then to rip into his flesh and cause him the pain she had felt. But not even tearing his throat out would be enough pain to cause him. Perhaps if she could also neuter the bastard she would feel half way even. Chara flicked her tail and snorted distastefully at him. "You could try to rip my throat out" she growled. Her jaws snapped in his direction as his eyes moved over her body, very unhappy with his gaze on her figure. "I'd keep those eyes to yourself if I were you" she snarled.
Her snarl grew in intensity as he dared to ask about their pups. Her head lowered and her shoulders rolled as she fought the urge to simply lunge and take his throat out. "They are none of your concern" she hissed, her anger like acid dripping from her fangs. Her orbs narrowed on him as he stood and moved closer. Her body ached to take that short leap for him, but she watched cautiously. Her ears pinned flat against her head as he continued to speak. "The only unluck I ever had was meeting you in the first place" she growled. She didn't care about his personality or how sane he was, now or then. She just wanted him gone from her sight.

His smile faded. Well. Clearly she didn't want to play nice. He tried to be nice, tried to keep their past, in the past, but clearly she wanted to be miss bitchy fur and now he was in a bad mood. No longer hungry, he turned away from the carcass and came back towards his, his eyes furrowed in a glare. "None of my business as to why you're here?" he hissed at her, tail lashing. "I think it is every piece my business! Even if these lands don't smell like mine, they soon will be! I've torn these packs apart with my jaws and I'm not done yet! I will own every leaf in this god damn land and I refuse to have you part of my collection. You're a poor pedigree." He nearly whacked her with his tail as he walked past her. He was in a poor mood now. Perhaps going to see Kage would cheer him up. Having a female that reacted to his charms and flirts was something to ease his stress. "I don't have the time for you anymore and I don't have time for your shit. You can stay in these lands as long as they are loner lands but you are forbidden to venture anywhere with my scent. Otherwise, I will hunt you down and kill you myself." He stopped to turn and look at her, his fiery orange eyes, once soft, kind and charming, not black and soulless and full of venom. "Consider this mercy." He snapped before turning to walk away.

She didn't care that she had mad him angry, his emotions meant nothing to her. Her teal eyes glared at him as he turned away from the carcass she had left. The sound of anger in his voice didn't scare her, nor did the words he spoke now. The fur on her back stood on end as she lowered her head, her lips twitching over her fangs. "Soon is not now" she hissed back at him. "I don't give a damn whether you want me here of not. I'm not going anywhere" she snarled. If he seriously thought that he was going to bully her into leaving he was sadly mistaken. She wasn't the sweet little female he had met before. She was a mother, a leader, and a bitch. As he walked past her she snapped her jaws at his tail, unfortunately just missing catching it between her teeth. He was lucky because she would have torn that tail from his rear and made him choke on it. She let out a cold laugh as he tried to forbid her from going to any lands that belonged to him. "I don't take orders from you" she growled back at him. "You can give up with your empty threats, because they do not scare me" she said with a small roll of her eyes. Her ears pinned flat to her head and her muscles bunched. "Mercy time is over" she growled low in her throat. Her muscles unbunched an she sprang onto his back as he turned from her again. Her jaws were parted, aiming her fangs for the fur on his neck, her claws extended and aimed for his body. She was done sitting by while he insulted her, she was done letting him try and push her around. She owed him some pain, and she was going to give it to him now.
