The last thing the female had planned to do was join a pack. But the life of a loner was far too dull for her. She just wasn't an antisocial creature. Living alone had given her no purpose and left her life empty. Sure it had made her feel safe, but not by much. Her family had been scattered, her pack destroyed. And it was all her fault. She had killed the only alpha of the pack. But she felt her reasoning was completely justified. What type of disgusting male mates with his own offspring? The very thought of it always made Serafina sick to her stomach. She didn't trust males much, even though she did still enjoy flirting with them. She just never planned on settling down with a male, and she certainly had no plans of having pups. Perhaps that is why she chose mainly females as her companions. Females couldn't breed with each other, and she trusted females.
And yet here she was, entering lands that were obviously claimed by a male, prepared to possibly give this home a chance. Her white and blue paws moved gracefully over the earth, barely leaving prints. Her fluffy tail swayed side to side with her hips, her head always carried tall. Her white tipped ears were perked up atop her head, listening for any suspicious sounds. Serafina twitched her nostrils and scented the air, taking in the scent of the male again. The scent was strong around the border, and perhaps she shouldn't have crossed it, but she continued into the lands. Her walk was slow and her body language showed she was relaxed. She felt no reason to be worried yet, no one had threatened her.
As she got farther into the lands, she finally decided it was time to stop. Her muscles tightened a bit as she stood still now, close to the center of the pack lands. Her ears swiveled atop her head, listening closely for a minute. Then her white jaws parted, and she lifted her muzzle to release a soft howl. The howl was of coarse to announce her presence to the alpha. A howl that she should have made at the pack borders, but she didn't feeling like waiting there. So here she stood, close to the center, waiting for the alpha. Her tail waved back and forth behind her back, her bright yellow eyes searching the surrounding area for any sign of movement. She could be impatient at times, and right now was one of those times. Serafina shifted on her paws and took a few more steps forward before stopping again. She would not wait for long.

The pack lands were humid under the sun's steamy heat, actually his pack lands now. With his father recently gone with age and his mother long returned to the earth, he was now the ruler of Dynsay. He may not have been the chosen heir but when his siblings committed blood treason and joined Nahani, the title rightfully fell to the remaining descendant. The pack was small now but being the rebel warriors, he would have to work on expanding it before Brena'he posed a threat. It was his job to protect what his father left him. The Alpha now dozed on a fallen log, his blue eyes half open while dark ears perked attentively, listening to his nearby pack.
In his sleepy state, the land seemed to whisper to him intruder... Startled, Makota was to his feet in seconds and looking about him. He set of at a lope toward the border, his slim frame passing over the landscape like a red ghost. Leaves barely moved as he brushed by, claw marks on soft tree bark remained the only marks from his paws. The scent assaulted his nose like the spring rains to the forest, she had moved a far bit into his lands, much to his irritation. Growling, the male turned and continued his jog after the scent. This female had some cheek entering Dynsay unannounced. Only a few strides after finding the trail, a soft wolf song rose into the humid air. Instantly his gait changed as he sprinted to the source, leaving the wandering scent trail for a more direct game path.
Climbing to the crest of a low cliff, Kota gazed across the terrain. She was close to him, only a few hundred feet, fitful on her feet as if tired of waiting. The sun shone on his copper coat as he bounded down the ledges of the cliff face and trotted smoothly closer to the stranger. His frame stood firmly with the high carriage of the head and tail shown by alphas, noticing her own bold posture. Annoyance flashed in his eyes, Kota's normally gentle voice sounded dark and deep as he spoke. You have some nerve waltzing into my lands stranger. I suggest you start talking, this is no mistake that you stand so far inside the borders. A very restrained snarl barely rippled under his words at the end, his dark ears angled back while hard sapphire eyes glared at the femme.

Only a complete fool would step into the lands of a pack without first announcing their presence. And perhaps Serafina was a fool, but she was too impatient for waiting. She did not like having to just sit around and wait for someone to find her. Why bother when she could go and find them? It never made any sense to her really, being forced to sit around and wait. So today she had decided not to wait, and if the alpha didn't like that well that was his problem. She might be friendly, but she was also stubborn as any female could get. Of coarse she had at least forced herself to stop somewhere in the lands. It was a little polite at the very least. She wasn't usually rude, but for some reason today she just didn't care.
As she shifted on her paws, she caught the sound of something not far off. Her ears perked up and she lifted her head higher, listening for the direction of the sound. Her bright yellow orbs peered around cautiously as the sound of paws coming closer. She turned her head abruptly and her eyes locked onto the large male headed her way. Serafina flicked her tail and finally stopped her fidgiting. She could see the annoyance on his face as he got closer. It was to be expected since she had entered into his lands without permission. But he would get over it or chase her off. Either way worked for her, though she was hoping for the first. She lowered her head a bit to show at least a little politeness and to show she wasn't trying to be disrespectful.
As he spoke she noted the deep tone to his voice which made her lips curl into a smirk. She wasn't surprised when he scolded her for entering onto his lands, nor was she surprised by the hint of snarl. Serafina bowed her head respectfully but kept her gaze up on the male. "I apologize my Lord. I thought it might be easier to seek you out then have you search for me. I fear my impatience got the better of me and I beg your forgiveness" she spoke in a soft tone. She wasn't really sorry, but he would never know that. She was good at acting, it was almost a gift of her's. So her apology seemed as sincere as it would if she had really meant it. Her yellow orbs blinked up at him as she lifted her head just a bit. She didn't like bowing, it was not a comfortable position. Her tail flicked and she waited to see what kind of reaction he would have.
