General Rules
1. Staff members need to be respected by the players - after all, they help keep the site running. However, staff are also expected to respect the players. They can't show favoritism and they can't be rude to even the most frustrating player.
2. No fighting in OOC or on the Cbox. If you really have to argue, keep it to PMs. Members will be banned immediately, no warnings will be given as you should have read this rule!
3. No inappropriate pictures or links to inappropriate websites or pictures are allowed.
4. Posting in the away board is an important thing. If you are going to be away for a week or more, please make sure to notify staff members by posting in the provided absence board. We don't want to delete you for missing an activity check when you are only temporarily away.
5. Swearing is allowed, but please do not overdo it. A swear word every other word is overkill, and just makes you look trashy.
6. No power-playing or god-modding. Power playing is when you try and take control of another player's character. This can often be done accidentally, so please be careful, especially during fights. God-modding is when you try and make your character seem invincible or perfect in some way. Please do not do either of these.
7. Continuing on power-playing, you may not injure or kill another person's character without that person's permission. Admins are the only ones who are allowed to do this, and only for a very good reason.
8. Display names may not have anything inappropriate, and if you could, please don't have numbers in your name. You can make you name full of signs and all of that fun stuff to make it pretty, but no numbers.
9. This is a semi-literate role play site and I expect this to be true. I expect more than 200 words per posts that fit together. I know there are noobs out there trying to get better at role playing but this is not the site to start learning on.
10. Just because the staff is not responding to posts or going out of their way to make boards with other members doesn't mean you can't roleplay. 75% of sites die because no one posts. Sites stay alive because of YOU! Please, if you want to roleplay, don't wait for an admin to make a board.
11. We do not have a plot on this site. This site is entirely member run. We enforce member interaction and imagination. If you want to start a war, go for it. If you want to challenge another player for a pack, go for it. It's entirely up to your discretion. Of course, you can make a plot with anyone if you are interested.Character Rules
1. You are allowed to have as many characters as you can keep active.
2. This site is a semi-realistic wolf role play. No horses, cats, or anything in the direction. This is not a cat role play, an equine role play, nor anything other than Wolf. Don't go creating anything other then what is allowed, please and thank you. This means painted dogs, coyotes, foxes and that kinda stuff....Please No dogs.
3. You must follow the character form, though you may add some codes to make it spiffy and pretty. Histories are optional but everything else MUST be filled out.
4. You only need to put where you heard from us on your first Wolf bio..After that it is not needed. Same goes for your roleplay example.
5. In your bios, you will be asked to make a role play example. If you fail to pass this role play example, you will be kicked from the site. This is a literate role play site. That means high expectations.Posting Rules
1. All in character posts must be at least 200 words long. No exceptions. This is a semi-literate to advanced role play site. If you have no muse, listen to a song and try to get it back, or don't post.
2. Please use proper grammar and spelling when posting both IC and OOC. Proboards has this handy little thing called spell-check... If I can't understand what you are typing, that's a clue. Yes, everyone makes mistakes. We're not going to attack you if you spell a few words wrong or misuse a comma here and there. However, if your post is difficult to read because of spelling and grammar mistakes then you may be asked to fix it.
3. Liquid time is allowed on the boards. However, it is up to you to keep things from getting confusing between time and characters.
4. No in-character double posting is allowed. That is why we have a handy little button called Modify. OOC double posting is alright, to bump topics and such, but no more than one double-post per 24 hours.
5. If you intend a thread to be private, please make sure that you state so in the description. If it is unmarked then it is assumed to be open to everyone. Marks for private can either be,or a member's name.
7. While IC you must use third person. No I's or me's. However, when describing your character, you may use first person.
8. Please, all posts must be written in size 1, or 2, but you may use large fonts for decorative purposes, like the name of your character at the start of the post.Breeding & Birthing Rules
1. Females must be pregnant for 4-5 posts before giving birth.
2. If you are in a pack, and it's customary to get permission for breeding, then do so.
3. None, ABSOLUTELY NO, graphic breeding please. We don't want to hear or read, the details of your canines mating. If you do not refrain from this, you will be banned immediately.
4. When you and your mate are ready to have a litter of pups, you ask an admin with a specific request form. Litters usually take two to three days and genders, health, pelt colors etc are all up to the admin. Please do not ask for specific pups. You are expecting and you can't control what you get. Sometimes, these things happen and you don't have any. Do not argue with the admins. They would have good reason to deny you a litter.Fighting Rules
1. Please contact in Admin when a fight is going to take place. The Admin that is contacted must judge the fight. They will determine the winner. You are based on how good the quality of the post was and grammar, not to mention moves, injuries and such.
2. No character will leave the fight without some injuries, if you have a hard time deciding on injuries, an Admin will decide for you.
3. Fights can go on as long as you want, but introductory posts do not count as the fighting posts.
4. Pack-leaders have a season immunity after they have gained a pack land, or when the site starts.
5. You have a week to respond to a fight, though if you post an absence notice before the fight thread, you will be excused.
