Night sky sang with the subtle whisper of rain drops, lightly each taking their turn to stain the ground with their moisture and bringing with them unseasonable warmth. The air smelled of dew, the clouds rumbling as they moved in to cover the navy sky above them and block the stars and moon away from the earth. A fitting set for the returning warrior who prowled familiar landscapes in search of one thing, her home.
Ebony frame elegantly swayed between the trees and out into the open space, coon like tail whisping to and fro in thoughtless fashion. Atop the crown of the banshee two ivory dipped sentinels pricked forward, strong boa arching back and tipping the alabaster face of the huntress skyward. Ripping through the silent night and fighting passed the rain came the call of the young warrior. Her cage expanding to let in oxygen and let out the strength of her cry as she called out to Ilahlari, wondering to herself if it was truly wise to return here.
Her song faded to nothing, crimson eyes focusing once more on her surroundings while taking in the scents that surrounded her. Even through rain she could catch hints of the hot headed wolf that once tried to recruit her, an offer she had accepted and surprisingly enough hoped that was still on the table. The weary temptress let a sigh escape her muzzle, exhausted from her travels she lowered herself atop the very rock she had made her call from. The rain began to fall heavier, soaking through her thick pelt and flattening her lovely canvas. Grateful to the light breeze that mixed with the rain cooled her hot flesh and soothed the weakened demoness. Relaxing herself as she awaited an answer from the king who surely lurked somewhere in the lands.

It had been too long, laying dormant in a less than healthy land waiting for the right moment. It had become a strong itch to make himself known once more and to reclaim the lands he had fought for. Now, however, he had felt a shift in the wind and had ventured forth from the darkness of his cave to take his place among the wolves once more. But when he ventured out, he was surprised to find that his pack had left, along with the wolves from all the other packs. It was as if the land had become barren while he had lain dormant. The silence in his pack lands irked him. He pulled one eat back as his fiery orange eyes looked out over the gentle slopping hills of his packs lands. He sat on the edge of a marble slab that had once been home to a luxurious marble building but now lay in shambles all around him. Except for the perfectly preserved slab his rump sat on. Just when he thought he might as well venture out and see how much of his pack had been decimated, a call caught his attention and he whipped his head to the side, his senses reaching out for the caller. A smirk spread across his face, he knew that call. He stood up and took off with a bound towards her call. Of everyone who left, he was glad she had still stayed.
They hadn't had much time together, Hell, he had wanted her as his Alphess, and had been uncertain, at the time, if she would even stay. Hearing her voice rise with the wind proved that, at some point, he had made an impression on her enough for her to still stick around. He hoped their time together wouldn't be thrust apart so soon and he could get on with his plan.
He quickly found her and jumped up onto the rock beside her, his smirk growing bigger as she came into view. "Well, hello, Love!" he greeted, plopping himself down on the rock in much the same way she had, the steady rain not once tarnishing the obvious joy he had at seeing her. "And here I thought I was the only one left."

Laying her lovely crown between two very exhausted paws the huntress allowed a brief close of her eyes as she waited for someone, anyone to call out to her. Perhaps the lands were abandoned now, maybe everyone was dead, she had no idea. The last thing she remembered of this place was her own soul attacking her. It was her first experience with the demon within and it took hold of her body and fled the lands. For months Kage struggled against her inner demon, slowly managing to gain control of herself once more. It had been the toughest war of any to fight, the war within her very soul.
She took in slow breaths, ignoring everything but the pitter patter of rain drops that fell around her. Her lobes remaining stiff atop her dome she felt the need to sleep slowly creeping up on her and yet she refused to move from where she was. Her muzzle filled with a familiar scent, very lightly making its way to her through the rain. Her eyes shot open in shock of what she was certain was approaching, her head lazily turning to the side just as the demon appeared atop a rock next to her. Part of her was shocked he was still even here, and the other even more shocked that he came running so eagerly to meet with her. “It seems you’ve become a better stalker.” She allowed the words to roll from her tongue as he looked over the beast, her exhausted figure not bothering to rise up from where she lay.
A slight grin formed over the banshee’s muzzle, she was still just as lethal as she had been the day she entered the lands, but now she had grown, the vixen was an adult now and no longer the strange youth she had been before. Her body had grown and developed her features far more feminine and yet still holding a robust air of a warrior queen. Her massive paws tucked beneath her muzzle as she watched him, letting his greeting of her warm her. “It feels good to be home.” Of all the places she had been in her life, for some reason it was here she felt she belonged, even in the time she had been gone, she longed for this place above everything else.

"Home?" he asked her, lifting his head to allow his fiery orange eyes to burn into her face, reading her for whatever he was looking for. When they had last met, she had merely laughed in his face, flicked her tail and sashayed away from him as if his offer to make her his queen and allow her to rule beside him had been too good for her. She had only just agreed to join his pack when everything had happened. He had expected her to take this chance of escape and disappear as many of his pack had already done. But to hear her call this home, rose a beast within him that filled him with smugness and the darkness within him wanted him to claim his prize.
But he swallowed his demons and simply smirked at her. "Home?" he repeated. "I didn't expect to hear that come from you." he teased her, standing up and shaking his pelt, rain drops shattering outward from his pelt before he sat back down eyes narrowed against the rain as he looked out over their particular vantage point. From where they sat, they could see where Brena'he and Ilahlari met, where the rolling grassy hills were met with rolling sandy hills. The quiet steady rain that was falling now seemed to quell the demons within him, bringing him back to a much quieter, peaceful part of his mind that he had almost forgotten. He almost wished for something to happen, to see a band of rebels rise from the sand in Brena'he and attempt to invade Ilahlari but from the scents that traveled with the slight breeze, it seems his pack wasn't the only one with little to no pack members.
"Well, it's good to know that at least one pack member has returned..." he murmured, his mind clouding up once more as thoughts of anger and revenge arrived. Those who had sworn their loyalty to him had fled when given the first chance. Cowards. If he ever got his jaws on them... He shook his head to clear them from his mind before turning to look at her with a smirk. "My offer still stands you know..." he teased her as he stood and circled her, his tail wagging softly. "You've filled out nicely into a rather beautiful female. It's going to be harder and harder to ignore these... feelings." he told her, eyes flashing dangerously, suspecting the demons within had darker plans then simply asking for her.

Im hot and I’m cold I’m yes and I’m no!
She could feel his ego swelling as he spoke, her brow rose in slight disbelief as she watched him from her perch. Something about the brute seemed conflicted, though he was as cocky as ever there was something about his posture even, he seemed so rigid and she could only guess it was the lack of life around the lands. Even she was shocked to only catch his scent around the lands, perhaps even more surprised that he was actually still around. Like the others she too had left the lands, not willingly but she remained away even after the fact.
Her scarlet gaze never wandered from the visage of the knight who spoke to her, his own shock coming out in the form of words, honesty escaping his strong jaw. “I’m sure there are a lot of things you wouldn’t expect from me.” Her nonchalant posture remained still, letting the rain soak through her completely, while the air grew colder. For a moment the weather caught her attention, straying from Nahani and instead glaring up at the sky as if willing it to stop its onslaught.
It really was too much to expect the other wolf to be on good behaviour even on their first meeting, once more he pushed the limits of her acceptance, teasing the idea of her becoming his queen, something the banshee truly believed she had no interest in. His taunting grin laced with truth as he took note of how lovely she had become in her absence. Her pelt seemed to be growing darker day by day, what little white was left was a mere reminder of what it had been. “Isn’t it a bit early for you to be testing your luck titan? I told you before I’m not your average little bitch.” The words came out with a sickening cruelty a sneer stretching her muzzle as she rose from her post and stood in dominant posture.
She wasn’t going to let Nahani have too much fun, it wasn’t in her nature, besides someone had to keep the playboy of an alpha in check.”I’m sure you can manage to keep yourself under control Nahani, and if not, well then I suppose I’ll just have to teach you to do so.” A coy grin formed over the vixen’s muzzle. She knew damn well how badly this king wanted her, she didn’t believe it as anything more than a hint of lust for the strange beauty that she was. She cursed her burden and yet still allowed that coy grin to remain, enticing anything near her to follow along on her path. Gracefully she brushed herself passed Nahani, the slightest meeting of their pelts as she pushed passed the length of him and slowly began her waltz further into the pack lands, teasing the bastard. In her time away Kage had learned a thing or two and though she was still a diehard warrior, she now enjoyed the little things in life and so a game was well in order, if he wanted to tease and try to gain her love, than she would certainly let him in small doses while tormenting him in turn.

"Mmmm such the mysterious vixen." he complimented as she walked past him, just barely touching him as she sashayed away. He felt the demon inside him stir and the thoughts began, shadows of things at first and then to full blown images. He had come to find that this was the only way the demon could communicate with him, by showing him these rush of images. Normally it got a thrill out of throat he slit open but today it didn't want blood and normally he'd give into such demands but at the moment, he was enjoying this little game they were playing. "Do teach me, love. I would love to be thrown down and told what's what." His smirk grew only slightly as he stood and followed after her, tail high in the air to proclaim his confidence.
From behind her, he admired her new frame and the change of her pelt. Like his, the black was taking over the lighter colors of her pelt. Perhaps that was the demon within her, like his was. He had been born with nothing more than black socks around his ankles and paws. Now, as he got older, it slowly "dripped" up his sides and swallowed his natural coloring, slowing turning him into the demon that consumed him. Perhaps that was part of the reason the demon felt such an attraction to Kage. Darkness attracts.
When he caught up to her, his shoulder inches from brushing her own, he let out a small chuckle. "I can see a bright future for us." he told her as they descended down a slow sloping hill. "This constant tug and pull game we're playing will surely keep us coming back for more." He glanced over at her before chuckling again. "It will only be a matter of time till you can't resist anymore." He challenged her before picking up his pace and trotting a little ways in front of her. "Fancy a hunt?" His voice called back to her from over his shoulder and he suddenly broke into a run, covering a quick distance across the open plain.

Keen lanterns of crimson glanced over at the brute as he neared, his chaotic orange tendrils mixing with the ebony of her blades in much the same fashion that she had done to him just moments ago. His response caused a devious smirk to trace the muzzle of the huntress. She couldn’t help but to find it amusing the way this knight fought so hard for her attention, and yet played it off as though it was she who was fighting some hidden want deep down inside. In all truth Kage couldn’t care less about any type of emotional attachment; she wanted nothing to do with such things. She was a huntress, a warrior and nothing more. Or at least that’s what she chose to believe. Her frame sashayed to and fro in a lustrous display, sharp gaze glancing around before swiftly locking onto Nahani as he went on about this game that he was so eager to play with her, his tone so upbeat and overly pleased that she was toying with him and then the ridiculous notion that she would be the one to give in to him. “Poor boy, you’ve been alone so long you’ve grown delusional.” Her words where smug and cold, and yet her grin never escaped her alabaster muzzle. “Show this lowly bastard what a true hunt is my vassal.” The seductive cooing of the demon within echoed through her mind, eyes falling shut Kage took a moment to force back the dark creature within her. A hunt sounded good, she was growing a bit hungry and the demon was growing more and more blood thirsty with each passing moment. “Why don’t you just hunt down this silly titan? He would make a grand prize beneath your feet.” again the leech within spoke to her, tormenting her mind with vicious thoughts of bloodshed. Ignoring the voice within that kept trying to surface the dire bitch sped up her waltz and make to the side of the brute, her tendrils bristling down her spine in a display of agitation as she meandered forward. Sensitive ears perked atop her crown, eyes of ruby glancing about while muzzle twitched with the scents around her. The slope of the hill felt slippery under her large pads, talons digging deep into the mucky earth, trying as hard as she could to keep her composure. From the distance the large vixen could catch a few silhouettes of some elk. From the distance a small hint of blood wafted, the iron scent throwing the demon within into a frenzy. Eyes flashed with an eerie yellow tint, a low seductive growl rumbled from within her gullet and out into the crisp damp air. Talons extended further as hunger for more blood crashed against the huntress. Without a word to her partner the femme fatal took on a lower posture, her frame sweeping over the lands like a shadow, unheard and unseen as she approached her targets. ooc~ yellow is the demon speaking to kage, red is kage speaking, and sorry I was distracted with the last bit of my post im not feeling too good.

He allowed her to pass him as they crossed distance across Ilahlari. He watched her from behind, as a master would his student. When she went into hunting mode, he stopped and watched her from the hill he stood on. She was graceful in the way she moved, a true Huntress that would put the Gods to shame. He watched her with keen fiery eyes. She had a lot more potential than she knew. Her demon within was much the same as his own, always hungry for more blood, no matter who's it was. As he watched Kage move over the lands towards the direction of her target prey, he felt his own Demon move within his soul, raking sharp claws against his very being, causing him to shudder with ecstasy. However, as hers wanted blood and death, his wanted Chaos and destruction and worst of all, her. It lusted for her in a way he, himself, had never lusted for a female before. Watching her move now, across the lands, he could almost picture her waltzing through a battlefield of dead wolves, those who had opposed him, her maw soaked with blood and a smirk on her face as she held herself high.
But as quickly as the image appeared, it disappeared again, leaving him to watch her stalk her prey. He shook the thoughts from his head and started after her, keeping downwind so as to not scare her prey. She seemed confident and he would only jump in if she asked him. He had faith in her abilities and was impressed by her confidence. Even though it had been him who had called the hunt, he didn't mind sitting back and watching her hunt. A few feet from her, he lowered himself down on the ground, his belly against the grass and his front legs stretched before him. At a moment's notice, he could rise easily and take off.
Watch her hunt, Nahani the darkness within him whispered to him. Think of the enemies that could perish beneath her claws. You must take her as your own before someone else does. She will certainly be a formidable enemy. Nahani blocked out the voice. As much as he wanted to listen to him, he couldn't force Kage to do anything. Forcing her would cause him lose her forever and he didn't want that. He would have to work this slow and at her okay.
((RAWR, sorry it's sort of boring. I didn't want to interrupt her hunt XD))
