Venix flicked his ears slightly as the sound of a howl rolled threw the area. He let out a very soft growl and stood up and looked around. he couldn't smell any wolves nor could he even see any so where did the howl come from. He snorted and then sat down and looked down at Ivora as she slept. He sighed some and then nuzzled her softly and rose back up to survey the area. he was going to keep guard till she awoke. He wasn't really sure how he was going to get Ivora to like him or even allow him to be closer to her but he was determined to do it. He then watched as she got up in a hurry and moved away from him. He turned his head and kinda looked at Ivora.
Did he do something wrong. He folded his ears back and whined softly. He didn't know what he had done but he wasn't going to let her slip away. Not when he was so very close. He shook his head and then walked over to her and licked her cheek and nuzzled her. he sat down next to her and laid his tail down next to him. He finally heard her say something about the last male that treated her like that and then she seemed to just drift off. He looked at her and nudged her, "what? he what Ivora?" he asked as he looked at her
He wanted to know what happened to make her not trust males any more. He turned his head towards the setting sun and smiled some as he sat there. he smiled and then stood up and let out a powerful howl. He wagged his tail and looked at Ivora and then licked her face and smiled. "Whatever he did Ivora, i wont do to you, I am sorry for what i said. I didnt mean for it to sound that way honest. Just sometimes i dont think before i speak" he said as he stood there looking at her. Even though Venix's plan was to just get close to Ivora and then leave her. Though some where deep down Venix couldn't do that to Ivora. he was becoming attach the Ivora which was something that Venix was not planning. He didnt want to settle down but there was something that pulled him towards her.

Digging her claws into the earth below, Ivora closed her eyes. She was still shaking uncontrollably, remembering Venix's touch and voice. They spun in her mind like a whirlpool, threatening to drown her. Why was she feeling like this? Why? She couldn't, males were bad, they were wrong. They were...
Blinking her eyes open, Ivora watched as Venix came over and licked her cheek. She tensed ever so slightly. His touch was welcoming to her, but her mind screamed 'no'. Wrapping her tail around her tightly, the she-wolf took a shaky breath to try and calm herself. She was stronger than this. She wasn't a weakling. What happened to her fierce fighting attitude and strength? 'It died alongside Tidus and Jaxian,' she thought with a pang. She missed her boys so much that it hurt. It hurt so badly. At Venix's touch, Ivora blinked at him and stared. His eyes drew her in again. She couldn't stop looking into them Shaking her head harshly, Ivora pinned her ears back.
Her words came flatly. "He left me." Shuddering, Ivora found herself pressing against Venix, not able to pull away from him no matter how much her mind screamed. And then she began to spill out to him. "And three days later, a band of rogue males came and killed my pups right in front of me." Ivora shook harder and she almost thought she was going to tumble over. Anguish and rage flowed from her as she recalled the attack.
'Laying down calmly, Ivora watched with warm eyes as the two pups pounced on one another, squealing in glee. The whiter and kinder of the two, Tidus, slapped a paw on Jaxian's tail and the pup yelped in surprise. "Gotcha!" Tidus squeaked before his brother leaped on him. Jax looked like his father, so much he seemed to be a replica. The mother let out a chuckle as she watched the pups tire themselves out.
Suddenly, there was a noise and a vicious scent. Ivora stood up quickly, her fur on end. The pups stopped their play when they saw their mother. "Mama?" Tidus woofed worriedly. "Is everything ok? What's out there?" Jaxian asked, looking around wildly. The forest around them erupted in snarling and growls. Four huge wolves stormed out on all sides. Two leaped on Ivora and pinned her as she screeched in surprise. The other two dove straight for the pups, their maniacal laughter filling the forest and echoing above the tree tops...'
Ivora winced, trying to erase the nightmare she had dreamed all too frequently. Shuddering, the white wolf laid down and stared off toward the sunset. She couldn't believe she was letting her memories torture her so much after having gained a little control. Ivora was supposed to be stronger than this. All others were supposed to show her respect and maybe even fear. But now... She was as dingy as a dirty piece of foliage. The pain of the past left such a deep gash in her that her thinking was altered and her feelings were blocked. She wanted to get rid of it all, drown out her sorrows and fears. Ivora wanted them gone for good, but she knew the hauntings would continue.
Sitting back up and staying beside Venix, the she-wolf glanced at him once again. He was different from other males, so she thought, a very much like someone else she'd met before. He reminded her of Wave in so many ways it scared her. Just like with him, she was drawn into his eyes, almost not able to look away. Sighing, Ivora angled her muzzle toward the sky, her eyes clouded once again. 'What a mess I am.'
"If you say so," she sighed, still uncertain, but no longer hostile. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't truly stay mad at the alpha. There was just something about him that denied it. Glancing at him, she barely allowed a small smirk to cross her muzzle as she said, "I'd advise you to be careful and think before you speak, if you'll forgive my boldness, alpha Venix."

He looked at the white female with the multi color hues and smiled. she was so much like her that it began to scare him to no end. He had thought that the taunting memory that she had left his mind long ago but it has still stayed and haunted him. He flicked his white ears and shook his head slightly as he sat there. he then looked down at her as he felt her pretty much throw herself at him. he was taken back and then heard the words He left me he looked down at her and sighed. He was starting to feel horrible about what he had planned to do. He flicked his ears and then wrapped his paw around her and held her close to his body. he was going to change his mind about leaving the female, or so he thought.
He then heard her explain her past of why she was the way she was at least to him it was an explanation. He could hear the pain in her voice as she spoke about wolves coming and killing her pups right before her eyes. He lowered his head down to hers and licked her ears softly. he then nuzzled her slightly, "I don't want to hurt you like he did Ivora. I really don't." he said as he sat there holding her tightly to his chest. He folded his ears against his white head and shuddered. He was starting to feel the same way that he felt about her back when they were actually a couple. He then looked up as a figure began to slowly appear before them. He barred his fangs and let out an aggressive snarl.
He wasn't about to let some ghost or whatever the damn thing was sweep in and steal Ivora from him. He stood up and lowered his head and snarled darkly. The hairs along his back began to stand up on end, and his upper lip began to quiver as he stood there watching as a wolf began to appear. He turned his head as it began to take form of a large, red, black and tan wolf appeared before him. He narrowed his dark crimson eyes at the massive wolf that appeared. he stepped back slightly and stood infront of Ivora. He would protect the female if it was the last thing he did. He watched as the massive male walked right past him and looked at Ivora who now was looking towards the sky with her muzzle in the air.
"Dearest daughter, You have grown so much in the past years. I am sorry i can not be around, But you have to believe me when i tell you, not all males are horrible. I miss you so much Ivora, You are not a mess. You are my daughter and because of that you are the way you are. I am sorry. Please forgive me. But do not push this male away. He is not bad, though he was to begin with" Aerin spoke as he stood by his daughter. His ghost form towered over the small white female. He looked at Venix and then nodded his head. He bowed to the male and then looked at his daughter and smiled. "I love you Ivora, and I will never stop loving you" He then turned and headed into the shadow that he had been watching to begin with and simply disappeared into the shadows.
Venix watched as the male appeared and then spoke to Ivora. He turned his head and began to listen to what he was saying. He wasn't sure what was being said but he just hoped it would help Ivora feel better. He then watched as the male disappeared into shadows. He folded his ears back and then looked at Ivora as she stood there. He waited to see if she would talk to him now or if she would just stay there looking up at the sky. though her last words kind of stug at him. "Believe me i will. I just cant seem to think right when i am around you and it is something new to me that i havent felt in a long time ever since i was with her, and please Ivora call me Venix"

As Venix's arm wrapped around her and pulled her close to him, Ivora suppressed a shudder and placed her muzzle to his chest. All she wanted to do was sit and forget, sit and forget... But she knew she couldn't. As his tongue passed over her ears and his words dazzled her fur, Ivora blinked slowly. She stayed still, thinking over his words carefully. He didn't want to hurt her like Wave had. Wave had left without a warning, leaving her to be the sole caretaker of their young. Flattening her ears even more, Ivora closed her eyes, her head yet again spinning. Why did Venix have to do this when he had a pack, and surely had other pretty females that deserved more attention than she did? To make her mind a jumbled mess? ...Wave had done this.
Just then, the sound of a growl spooked her. She straightened up, fur bristling and eyes opening wide. She stared at Venix, lips twitching and threatening to snarl. He lied to her! He was being aggressive and- wait. He wasn't looking at her. What was he looking at? Smoothing her fur out, Ivora followed his gaze over to the shadows. Was something hiding there? As if to answer her question, the shape of a wolf appeared in ghostly fashion. He was marked with fur that made Ivora stare in shock. 'Aerin!' She stared at him, eyes wide as could be, as the spirit approached. It was him again. She had seen him before when she had met another male. Ivora looked him over, but sadly there wasn't much to see. She continued to watch and her ears raised as he spoke.
As he spoke of not all males being horrible, the white wolf flinched as the memories tumbled back. Wave leaving, the attack... But then, something else happened. Other memories hit her. She remembered the days she played and teased with Aerin and then she remembered Tidus and Jax playing. They were all males that had never meant her any harm. Her eyes widened further if it was even possible. Aerin was right, again.
As the ghost of her sire walked away, Ivora breathed, "I love you too, father." She blinked as he vanished from sight before looking toward Venix. He seemed to be unsure what to make of the appearance of a ghostly figure. Sighing, Ivora stood and padded over to him. She pressed her muzzle to his and breathed in, as if trying to take in his scent. As quick as the touch had happened, the wolf pulled away gently and sat. She no longer shook and no longer looked frail. Aerin's words had made her think and calmed her. In silence, she stayed beside him, watching as the sun nearly vanished from the horizon. Maybe being around Venix wouldn't be so bad. Her father seemed to accept him, and Ivora found herself doing the same despite his earlier words that had set her afire.
As the alpha spoke, Ivora allowed a glance in his direction. His words made her feel odd and she wasn't sure she was fond of the feeling quite yet. As far as she was concerned, she was incapable of loving another ever again. But when he spoke of "her," she asked outright but quietly, "Her?" He had had another? Of course, he was an alpha, he was able to have as many females as he wished. She shouldn't really care, but Ivora couldn't completely hide her interest in his past relationships.

Venix just sat there watching the multi hue male talked to the white female. He flicked his ears as he heard the single words, he was to begin with. His ears went back and a snarl erupted from him. so the ghost knew of the plan, he growled and then shook his head as he sat there and just listened to the male talk to Ivora. he sighed as he watched the massive male walk by and just disappear. He then turned his attention to Ivora and heard he whisper the words I love you too father. so the male that manifested before them was her father. Who knew, he was red tan and black and Ivora was a mixture of a bunch of colors. He sighed and then shook his head as he sat there.
He was taken back as she came up to him and pressed her muzzle into his and breathed in. his ears flicked some as he sat there and just looked at the female. What in the world was she doing, he felt her touch leave and then watched as she sat down next to her and watched the sunset. he turned his head to the female and smiled some as he seen that she was no longer shaking, He then turned his head up towards the sky and let out a long soft howl. He then looked down at Ivora and licked her cheek softly. He looked towards the sky again and licked his maw. He soon finally laid down and crossed his front paws and rested his head down on his white paws.
"So i take it that was your father?" he asked as he laid there looking up at the female. He had never really met his dad, but then again he couldn't really remember back then. he sighed and then looked at the stars. His eyes seemed to shimmer as the stars began to glow brightly and the moon came up and he smiled. He rose up and leaned against Ivora and nuzzled her "I wont leave you Ivora. And if I do i wont be able to live with myself" he spoke softly as he licked her and then pulled her close. He heard her ask Her and his ears went back and he turned his head from the female and sighed some " year or so back i met a female that reminds me much of you and well i became close to her but then one night everything changed and now i cant remember anything about her. It has haunted me ever since then. But when i am with you i dont seem to be worried about it. It is almost like my mind has forgotten about her." he said as he lifted his head up from his paws to look at the alabaster female that sat next to him

The warm air was beginning to cool as the sun slipped past the horizon, leaving an orange glow to cape the mountains and treetops. The orange faded to a shadowed blue and illuminated stars began to flicker into view, emerging through the dark blanket that was the sky. With twitching ears atop her head, Ivora stared upward, watching the colors change and darken. A hush seemed to settle over the area, leaving the impression that the Earth itself was falling asleep. The only noise she acknowledged was the creek and the sound of Venix breathing beside her.
A howl caused Ivora to look at the side toward her company, eyes sparkling with curiosity. Flicking her ears back and forth, the she-wolf watched him sing and end the song. Blinking, she felt his tongue roll over her cheek and she continued to watch him. As he laid down, Ivora turned her eyes, a mismatched juxtaposition of lime and lemon, to the sky once more. When his voice tickled her ear fur, Ivora glanced down at the white-and-black male. She gave a small nod. "Yes, she murmured softly, remembering a time a lifetime ago when the same thing had happened. Everyone she loved was gone, surrendered to the Earth. 'But they are at peace,' she reminded herself, sighing aloud. 'Sometimes I wish I was with them.'
Flashing a glance downward once more, Ivora caught a shimmer in Venix's eyes. They seemed to glow in the creeping darkness and, once again, Ivora couldn't stop herself from staring. What was it about his eyes that made her lose every sense of being and just gape? It surely had to be rude and uncomfortable to him. She broke her gaze away when he rose into a sit beside her. His fur touched hers and Ivora felt a rush bolt up her body, making her shiver for a split second. He was against her now, his heat slipping down her form and warming her from her toes to her nose. Venix's words seemed to make her hold her breath, ears once more twitching with uncertainty.
He said he wouldn't leave her. Why? They had just met, they hardly knew one another besides short exchanges of the past. Regardless, Ivora felt herself relish his words, wanting them to be true. Breathing in, the she-wolf found herself getting lost in his scent, spiraling endlessly down a path that that somehow she knew she wanted to take even after his previous slip of the tongue. It scared her. Ivora already felt herself becoming attached to this stranger. Blinking, the white white found herself laying her head against his chest and closed her eyes, exhaling slowly. She needed someone right now, maybe not a mate, but someone to keep her from going insane from loneliness and her own depression. Ivora heard herself breath the words, "Thank you," before she realized how close to Venix she was.
As he explained, Ivora suddenly felt a pang in the back of her mind, stronger than before. "It's funny you say that," she breathed, "for around the same time I met a male that reminded me much of yourself. The way he spoke and the kindness he showed." She blinked and glanced up at the flower still tucked beside her ear. "And your antics. They're practically the same. His name was... I believe his name was something like... Dice? Vice?" Both Venix and Vice were so incredibly similar that the she-wolf felt dim for not realizing it before. But this new male, this alpha, surely couldn't be that white and black wolf with the green eyes she had known before.
The wolf moved her head away, ears flat against her head and eyes remaining closed. Slipping down to the earth, Ivora felt herself curl up beside him, pressing her body to his flank to share his warmth. If she remembered correctly, they felt the same. The night-time chill was sinking into the ground around her and the she-wolf held back a shiver that threatened to make her body shudder. Fatigue draped over her and Ivora found herself slowly lolling off into a dream state, not completely asleep but not fully awake. Ivora had never been this comfortable around a male for months, always shunning them and chasing them away or running. But now, things seemed to be slowly changing thanks to her alpha, and possible friend, Venix.

It was amazing that Venix spoke the words that he would never leave the female. Who was he kidding, he was going to begin with. He shook his head, he heard Ivora's voice and smiled. "I don't think he passed on, maybe it was something that elders used to say, what was it, OH out of body experience, He could have knew you were in trouble and sent his spirit to help you" He said as he sat there, He knew some stuff about spirit stuff, he had followed a shaman back in a pack he helped out. He took a deep breath and nuzzled Ivora and licked the top of her head softly. He then looked around, He was falling for the multi hued female. He shook his head and then smiled softly, but it was feeling alright.
He knew that he would never hurt the female. he couldn't do it again to another female. He had hurt her way to much and didn't want to do it again. He took a deep breath and then heard her say something about thank you. He looked at her and kinda turned his head. Why was he being thanked. He didn't do anything, at least not to his knowledge. he then nodded his head "I don't know what i am being thanked for but your welcome" He said as he leaned against her and took in her scent. His ears went back as he heard her speak of almost the same situation that he had once been in. He looked at her and then heard the name Vice. He turned his head quickly as the name hit hard. He couldnt figured out why that the female's name didnt click but he now could remember some of the nights back when he was called Vice. He looked at her smiled and then nodded his head slightly as he began to speak again "I used to be called Vice, though something unknowned happened about a year ago. though my memories of the name i know, though anything past last year i can not remeber. I wish i could. I am sorry for whatever i had done back then" he said as he turned back to the white female. He nuzzled her softly and then pressed his nose into her neck and took in a deep breath.
It was rather addicting to him, he watched as she slipped down to the cold earth. He flicked his ears and then slipped down next to her and wrapped his tails around her as best as he could and tried to keep her warm. He was normally warmer then wolves and that seemed to be a good thing at the moment. he rested his head over hers and sighed some. he could feel her relax and he could just image her going to sleep Oh venix what have you gotten yourself into? Your old name has slipped threw the lips of the white female, you must have done something last year he thought to himself as he laid there. Wind picked up and swirled around the two wolves. He shuddered and then pulled her closer to him and shook his head and rested it back down on Ivora. he closed his dark eyes eyes and soon slipped into a slumber. Something the male had not done in many days.

Despite her silence, she had heard all his words. The words of how he spoke of her father, of his old name. He remembered. Somehow, Ivora felt comfort in knowing that this male was someone she had known before. He had helped her rise from her angry, depressed stupor from before. Because of his and Aerin's multiple interventions, she no longer felt pure hate toward the opposing sex. Now she just felt it not possible to fall for another, and she would uphold this reasoning. She would never mate, never love again.
She wanted to speak, wanted to tell him that he had done nothing wrong, but her mind was too far gone. Sleep was wrapping around her tightly and what she thought she said aloud was only said in her mind as she fell into a dark, nightmareless sleep,
'You did nothing. I was the one who left.'
The sounds of birdsong and unbearable heat was what stirred the she-wolf from her sleep. Slowly, she blinked her eyes open and let them adjust properly. Why was it so hot? Glancing toward the side, Ivora was met with the sight of another sleeping figure at her side, practically curled around her. She nearly roared in anger before remembering the night before. Blinking, the white wolf looked around. She didn't remember the exact moment she had slipped into sleep, and it irritated her. What had they all said after she told him he wasn't at fault? Or... had she really said it?
Her mis-matched eyes turned toward the sky, taking hold of the milky sight above. Just after dawn. Carefully, Ivora picked her way out of the alpha's paws, laying his head down gently where it had layed on her back. The wolf shook herself before turning to the river and approaching it, once more dunking her legs in and lapping at the cold water. Quite a lot had happened in a few hours of the previous day. She had met someone who had actually been from her past, one she could tolerate, who was an alpha. She joined a pack. Aerin had been seen again to give her adivce.
Glancing over at Venix, the she-wolf began to think back to the last time she and him - at the time Vice - had met. They had shared the night but in the morning, before he awoke, she had run away, not completely heeding her fathers words to trust him. It was hard to kill old habits and feelings, and at the time it had seemed best to leave him and be alone. But now as she looked at him, Ivora wondered if she would do the same. She could if she really wanted to. Right now, "the pack" was simply a statement. She hadn't seen the lands beyond this point and all she knew was the alpha. She could get away with running. But this time, she decided, she would give it a chance. It had been a long time since she had company that lasted more than a day.
Stridding out of the cold, Ivora wasted no time drying herself off as she stalked quietly into the foilage. No, she wasn't leaving, merely looking around to familiarize herself further. She didn't get very far when a tired rabbit crossed her path. With striking swiftness, the wolf dove and killed the mammal percisely. Picking it up in her jaws, she turned immediately and headed back to her companion. Stopping before his sleeping form, Ivora dropped the rabbit with a THUD and took a few steps back. Being the alpha, she would show him some respect and give him her first kill. Sitting where she had stopped, Ivora allowed herself to really look around from her spot, taking in every detail of this new place that she would call home. For now.

His chest rose and fell softly as he laid there almost in peace as he sleep for once in a long time. He only slightly stired at the female shifted away and left to hunt. He soon woke to the sound of the body of animal drop infront of him. He opened his eyes and looked at the creature and yawned and then shook his head as he rose up and streched out and then cracked his neck and rolled his shoulders and pushed it back to Ivora. "I am good love. I will eat later tonight. It is yours, go ahead and eat." he said as he stood upon his feet. he looked around and sighed some, he had over slept, and it was a bad thing that he did. He didnt want to sleep that long, he never slept that long. He looked at the essa and sighed some as he walked out some where they had slept and looked around. There were no new smells which was a good thing.
Ment no one had crossed the borders since the night he met his Ivora. He walked over to the creek and stepped into it, he laid down and allowed the water to run over his body as he laid there. his eyes shut as the cold water took over his body, he rose up and shook the water from his pelt. Almost instantly steam began to rise from his body, he began to lick his legs and any where he could reach. He walked out of the water and sat down and began to lick the water from his body, he looked at Ivora and smiled some as he sat there. She was rather stunning, how could such a small creature take his breath away and make him want to be with her more then anything. He looked down at the ground and sighed some, it was something that Venix was never expecting. he never wanted to fall for the female but it had happened and it scared venix to no end

The sound of the alpha male stirring drew the white beast out of her thoughts, her wandering eyes straying from the observation of the landscape. With a blink, her focus snapped toward the male and she watched him as he rose and stretched. She observed the way his body moved closely, the flex of his muscles, the shiver of his fur, taking in every detail she could to add to her memory. Maybe watching him would reveal some deep meaning, like why she had allowed Venix to sleep so closely to her, to even touch her like he had. If she really considered it, he had been the last to touch her like that anyhow. Aside from him, it had been her past lover two years prior with her family. What was so different about him that had caused her to surrender herself for a night when the last time she has done so, it had left her in heartache? Ivora surely knew better.
Her ears twitched at the word "love." It was just a petname, but that didn't mean she enjoyed it. Her stare only moved when he told her the rabbit was hers and she only spared it a glance. He wanted to go a day without eating? Well, it was his choice. Her eyes continued to follow him further as he went into the river. It was only when he went under did Ivora switch her gaze and look down at the prey. It was true that hunger stabbed at her, but generally she only ate when she felt she couldn't go on anymore. Her lip rose in distaste. With a sigh, she leaned down and nipped at the creature, tearing off bits to satisfy the most severe pains and to gain energy. When she was done, a little less than a half remained and Ivora cleaned up her muzzle, leaving hardly a trace. Her vision snapped up as Venix splashed out of the river and she carefully moved away, watching him unsurely.
It still bothered her that she had allowed herself to get so close to him for so long. She needed to get away. Now the she-wolf understood why she had never purposely sought out company; she wasn't atoned to such interaction anymore. She stayed a safe distance away and continued to watch him, now desperate to know what had caused her behavior. Her ears perked up at his sigh and she blinked. "Something wrong?" she asked, stretching where she stood after a pause. After a quick shake, Ivora carefully approached him, inhaling his scent in hopes that it would help. It only made her shiver, sending a strange sensation through her that she hadn't felt since Wave's time. She stopped suddenly, uncertain. Laying her ears back, she looked away, angry with herself. She had sworn to never fall again, to save herself from the torture. Could it be possible that she would defy this? No, never, definately never. But bodily wants could act differently than the wants of the soul. However, who was to say that she didn't want him there, too?
No! It couldn't be. Shaking herself harshly, Ivora held back an irritated growl and looked around. "Do you maybe," she began, fighting feebly for something to say, "want to walk around? I need a stretch." She needed to do something to get her mind off the war that had begun within her, though she assumed that walking close to the source of the problem, the alpha, wouldn't help much. It was at least something, a start, if you will.
'Great job, Ivora, great job...'

Venix's body shifted slightly as he stood finally, he flicked his ears slightly on his head as he stood. He turned his head slightly as he heard Ivora ask if anything was wrong. He smiled and then licked her cheek softly "Nothing, just wish i could remember who i was back when i was called vice" he said as he looked up at the morning sky and smiled. It was his favorite time of the day, he looked around looking for a good rock to bathe on. He finally spotted the flat rock that he spent his morning on and headed over to it and began to roll on the warm rock. He rose to his feet and shook the dust from his crimson and gold pelt. He then walked back over to Ivora and looked at her, he could tell that she was dealing with demons. He nuzzled her and then heard her ask if he wanted to go for a walk so she could strech. He nodded his head, he needed to make his rounds anyways.
He had to make sure that the other wolves in other packs had not tresspassed into his lands. He took in a deep breath and then nudged her slightly with his cold black nose nad soon headed out into the feilds with a quick pace. he needed to get to the boarders and check the lands for other scents that were not normaly there. he placed his nose to the ground and began to take in deep breaths. There was nothing new, he looked arorund and began to mark his lands with his scent. he stood still for a moment as a strong breeze shifted and swept into the lands, there was a familiar scent, it was that female he had met just hours ago, senta was her name and she was crazy. he shook his head nad looked back to see if Ivora was behind him. He couldnt be thinking of the other female, not like it mattered, Venix had eyes for Ivora now and that was all he wanted.

The gesture was one of kindness she knew, and Ivora couldn't help but accept it. As a reaction, she was tempted to lick him back but refrained, listening to his answer with raised ears instead. So, he was trying to remember the past. Her eyes grew distant for only a moment as she tried to recall their night together. It had passed much like this last night, and she knew she couldn't offer him any more than he really knew. I'm afraid I can't tell you more than you already know," she said. Her brow rose in slight interest as the male turned away to soak up sunrays on a stone slab. She watched, sitting down as she did so. The sunlight gleamed off of his crimson pelt and the she-wolf couldn't help the jump in her heartrate as she watched Venix practically glow.
Her mis-matched ears twitched back when he rejoined her side and at his nod, she quickly stood to follow. Once they began to walk, Ivora knew she'd feel better. Being in one place for too long wasn't her thing. When the alpha started off, Ivora waited for only a second and followed, keeping pace with him easily. She inhaled, laveshing the freshness of the air and the warmth of the dawn. She idly payed attention as Venix sniffed around for intruders and kept the borders fresh. With her body in moment, the she-wolf felt her mind flow more smoothly. One thing was for sure, much to her greater displeasure, was that there was something about Venix that held her. Even if she wanted to, Ivora knew that now she couldn't stray away and run. Just like she had feared, the seed was sown. If she left him, it would hurt. She mentally scolded herself with rich profanities, knowing that no matter what, she was a stuck in a bad place.
With a sigh, Ivora turned her head to look at the male in question. Just as she did, he did the same. The beast froze, looking into his eyes and searching for some hidden answer. There was sometihng in those eyes, something burried and caged, and as she looked, she wondered if she really wanted to know the answer. Taking a breath, the colorful canine approached his side and gently placed her muzzle to his shoulder, holding back a shiver. "Did you find anything interesting?" she asked, gazing at him with a hint of fondness she couldn't hold back. Just like Ivora had feared, she was steadily stumbling, and it looked like there wasn't a way to fight it. Of course, she would try, God would she try.

Venix's ears flicked back as he picked up his head from the ground and looked around. he sighed and then sat down adn curled his tri colored tails down over his front white paws, and growled slightly. He shook his head and then turned to Ivora as she spoke about how she couldnt tell him anyu more then what he already knew, He lowered his head and licked the top of his tails quickly and then laid down and crossed his front paw and looked at Ivora, He was falling for the female and he was falling fast which scared Venix rather well. He never thought that he would fall for such a female so fast. He looked at her ask she asked if he found anything interesting. "Nothing new, The other packs arnt growing which is something that might be scaring the other alpha's" he said as he laid there. He didnt want to move much more just becasue the lands beyond his belonged to another female named Chara. And she ran her pack with a stict paw, he sighed and then rose to his feet and snorted some.
He looked at Ivora and soon rose to his full height and walked over to her and licked the top of her head softly and then nuzzled her with a very gentle touch "I am Falling Ivora, and i am falling fast. Why is it that i cant stop falling?" he asked as he looked at her duel colored eyes, He was lost in her eyes, though his eyes were dark and almost souless you could see the care and love in his eyes that he was begining to hold for the vixen that stood before him. He would have her as his mate but he would ask when the time was right and at the moment the time was very very wrong, he would have to wait till the female was more at ease with the male by her side. He knew that they would rule the pack with a strong paw and would conquor the war when it came. He would take down that tirent nahani if it was the last thing he would do.

Sympathy, tenderness, Warm as the Summer, Offer me their embrace...
Her weight shifted from paw to paw as she leaned to the side, watching the alpha male lay down. She held back a sigh and closed her eyes, turning her head away from him. His kindness was something that was hard to swallow. Surely there would be an end to it all? There had to be... then she could justify leaving this place. But it wasn't ending, he kept on watching her with those eyes that held the tenderness she feared. Why couldn't he just understand that it was impossible for her to love again, that her liking someone would damn the world again? His voice drew her out of her inner turmoil and she opened her eyes, glancing at him from the corner of her eye.
Friendliness, gentleness, Strangers to my life, They are there in his face...
The packs weren't growing? She didn't know much about the surrounding packs, not their history nor their systems of working or how they affected Venix's. Curiously, she asked, "Should it scare us?" She allowed her eyes to drift close again, trying to block out his image as many times as she could. How on earth would she be able to live in this pack if she had to close her eyes to the alpha? Aerin's words or not, she would hold out as long as she could without putting her trust in him. She couldn't, absolutely not. His touch startled her and her eyes flashed open, focusing her gaze on his face as he looked deep in her eyes. Her breath hitched in her throat and Ivora scolded herself again for letting her internal instincts getting in the way. His words struck her hard and her ears fell flat in dispair. She was no fool, she understood what he meant and it terrified her. "Perhaps it would be best for both us that you sprout wings and catch yourself from your fall." She turned her head away, her heart slamming against her chest fast. No, this couldn't be happening, this was very bad. Why was this happening?
Goodness and sweetness And kindness Abound in this place...
Their perseption of the future was very different. Where he saw a new mate and alphess by his side, Ivora saw a path of destruction waiting to happen. She couldn't love again, it was impossible, wasn't it? Turning to look at him, Ivora suddenly saw the emotions flaring in his eyes. Her own widened and she raised her head to stare into them. "I just..." she whispered, holding back the whine. Stop that, she scolded. "I can't... not now, Venix. Not now. It was horrible of her to lead him on like that. No, not now, and not ever could she admit she was falling too and that she could actually picture herself beside him, if only in a tricky haze. She had to save herself from the heartache that was to ensue. Never again could she go through the loss, less should she utterly be destroyed and go completely mad. All of his words came spiraling back, his promise to never leave, his fall, and the look in his eyes. A mask of sadnes shone over her own visage as she realized what was happening. How horrible of a creature she was to toy with someone who appeared to truly to care for a beast like her.
I am in love With the things That I see in his face - It's a memory I know Time will never erase...

His white and golden ears flicked on top of his head as he sat there looking at the white essa. He heard her ask if they should be scared. He shook his head, there was no need to be afraid not unless that pack was to grow and become a challange. He took in a deep breath and then turned her head away and shuddered some as a cool breeze swept over him. he shifted his body and then heard her speak about he should sprout some wings and catch himself. He smirked and nodded his head, he only wished he could sprout wings and catch himself but it would be no use, he would fall to fast for his own good. He looked at her as she got up and walked away from him. He folded his ears and rose to his feet and walked up to her and nudged her gently. "What do you mean? I am sure you can. You are just scared of what might happen" he said as he licked the top of her head. He didnt want her to be scared, or to even not want to have nything to do with him.
He stood by her and sighed, he was messing things up but he couldnt help the way he felt. He looked around and then headed off towards an area where things would be less tense. He looked around and began to scratch around the ground looking for a certin spot. he began to dig as he had found it, he pushed the dirt to the side as he began to make a hole, though this hole lead down into a cavern where he would disapear to and locate a cave that held gems. He walkekd around and soon picked up a few gems and climbed his way back out of the cavern. He covered the hole back up and held the gems in his mouth and then walked up to Ivora and placed them at her feet. "I know you do not wish to be with me, but i wish to be with you more then i wish to breath." he told her as he looked at her, his tails danced behind him as he stood there.
