Things Left Unanswered {OPEN}

When everyone had left, she had stayed. Why? That's the question she had been asking herself for awhile now. Sorek had even left, leaving her behind as she feared he would. Why bother putting her heart and love into someone when all they would do was leave it on the ground and walk away. Everywhere she walked, she was struck with memories of him and her. Instead of heartbroken, she was more dead inside, numb, walking around the pack area as though she were a ghost. She was aware of a new Alpha who she had only once but other than that, she had tended to keep to herself deep within pack lands. The scent of another had drawn her out. As Sorek's Beta, her old duties kept her going. It was instinct now to find the newcomer and greet them.

However, as soon as she got closer, she stopped, one pink paw lifted in mid step as the new Alpha's scent washed over her. He had already greet her. Why should she bother interrupting? Besides, she hadn't been seen around the pack much anyway, what help was she? Who was she to walk up on them as ask who she was when she herself hadn't said who she was. All the new Alpha knew was that she had been a member of this pack under the previous Alpha. But she would continue to be a nobody if she didn't come out and show herself. And what better way than with "pack meeting". By the sounds of it, the new comer was already a member by he way he Alpha was talking to her.

Stealing herself, she put her foot down and walked forward, appearing before them, her black and hot pink markings blaring wildly against the green forest making her appear as a hot beacon among them. "Excuse he intrusion." she spoke calmly, eying the new female. "I overheard you two talking and thought we might all introduce ourselves. I've been rather elusive lately. My name is Savah and I used to be the Betess around here under the past Alpha, Sorek." she bowed her head as she finally caught a glance at Venix. She was impressed with how handsome he was and couldn't control the wild beating of her heart. She swallowed and looked away. She wouldn't let herself be caught up with an Alpha again. All they did was walk all over her heart.

OOC: I hope this post is okay... I wasn't sure if we were still doing the plot withe Venix and Savah or not but I figured posting would at least be okay XD

Venix had been threw hell and back with attempting to win over the females that he had been with, though only one had taken to him. And he himself was falling for her, but he had plans with the other females in his pack and he would finish it before he decided to settle down with Ivora. He flicked his ears as he heard the sounds of paws kissing the earth. He rolled onto his stomach and looked arorund. He had been rolling on his back in the long grass, it was a good pass time. He rose to his feet and shook his pelt slightly. he yawned and then looked at her as spoke. His ears flicked as her voice reached his ears, Her voice was soft yet there was a darkness to it. He walked over to her and narrowed his eyes and then spoke softly "It is fine, i was finished with that chat any ways. and So i have noticed with the way you walk. Though i would watch how you walk with the new alpha around"

He heard her say something about being betess and the old alpha sorek. He snorted, that old alpha was horrid, he didnt do as he was suposed to and things went horribly wrong for him. He shook his head nad soon reclined back on his haunches and looked at the pink and black female again "I am Venix the new alpha of the lands, and if you wish to keep your title then you are to prove that you are loyal to me" he said as he narrowed his eyes, he would get his way wether she wanted to or not, though he wouldnt take it from her, oh no that was not the way that Venix worked at all

She raised an eyebrow at him. Careful how she walked around him? Was he serious. Only a tail flick shown her annoyance at his words while her face remained utterly expressionless. She had fallen head over heels for Sorek mostly because he had gotten so tongue tied around her. It had been cute and the more she batted her eyelashes, the more he freaked out. But wasn't interested in trying for love again. Not after Sorek had broken her heart. They had never really been lovers, purely romantic interests but to have a crush stand up and leave without telling you why or where, it was crushing. And if this male, this new Alpha, decided this was too much for him as well and left, she didn't want to be affected by it.

"Prove my loyalty to you?" she questioned, a note of anger in her voice. "I'm still here aren't I? That should be loyal enough." She wanted to rage in anger at him. How dare he consider her not loyal! If she weren't, the second she had seen his arrogant face, she would have turned tail and rushed to catch up with Sorek's scent. She was loyal to the rebellion and she was royal to whomever decided to try their hand at leading this pack. With Chara as an Ally, dealing with her and leading this pack was somewhat of a task. She honestly didn't blame Sorek for leaving. She wouldn't want to deal with Chara's temper either.

She was rather enchanting but he had his Ivora now and things would have to be different after he was to do what he wanted to do to the female. He stood up and shook his pelt into place and then looked at the female and took in a deep breath. He walked up to her and ran his tails agsaint the side of her body and then nipped his jaws at her slightly and turned his head away and looked at where he had left his white queen. He flicked his ears back and then turned back to the female and smirked "You staying here just tells me that you had no where else to go and was to weak to take on the postion of the alpha like a beta is to do if the alpha leaves." he said as he looked at the female with bright crimson eyes. He would have to work his way around her barriers since he was sure she had them up when the last alpha left the lands for unknown reason. He yawned and then sat down behind the female, he laid his tails arorund his white and gold paws and sighed some. he figured that the last alpha left due to the female that ran the pack above them. She was a handful to deal with, she was moody and was always snapping at something or another. He would never understand why that essa was always edgy and so tempermental. He would have to find out one of these days when he wasnt busy being with Ivora or even dealing with the females that were in his pack. She shuddered as he ran himself against her. It was all she could do to not reach out and snap at one of his tails. If she was trying to prove her loyalty, snapping at her Alpha's tail with the intentions of hurting, was probably the last thing she should be doing. "I am not weak!" she spat. "I'm just not stupid! I know what Chara would do to me if I stepped up! She'd chew me up and spit me up! Besides, it's not like I had the chance." she added, hotly. "You're arrogant head appeared and claimed it before I even had a chance to ponder the situation." she said down and wrapped her tail around her paws, acting like nothing more than the selfish child who cared nothing about him. She closed her eyes and pulled her ears back. Though she might look as though she didn't care about him being there, she was keeping tabs on his presence. There was something about him she just didn't trust and she didn't like it. She had allowed herself to stay under his rule but it wasn't without some coaxing. So far, it was all females in this pack and that thought alone scared her. He seemed a little interested in her...

She opened her eyes and glanced back at him, her heart beating against her rib cage. She needed to get away from him, go deeper into the pack lands where his stench couldn't reach her. She wasn't falling for his charms like that white female was. Oh no. She saw right through that. She stood up, keeping her face neutral to mask the real horror she felt inside. "Well, I'd hate to keep you waiting..." she began, brushing past him, back towards the direction she had come. "I'm sure that lovely little female who has the doe eyes for you is dying to have you charm her, not some other female. I am no fool, Alpha." she said, giving him a look as she lashed her tail.

"Better my arrogant head claim it then some witch that cant even figure out where she is needed" he hissed as he turned his head towards where he had left Ivora for the night, he had left early morning to figure out who's scent was mixed in with the ground and came to find the female was the one that he smelled. He then heard her say that she didnt want to keep him waiting and that she was sure the female that had the doe eye for him was Dying to have him charm her. . He flashed his fangs at her and shook his head, he wouldn allow this female to ruffle his fur. He looked back at her and smirked "Why would i have to charm her, when she had already fallen for me Witch" he hissed What the female didnt know was that the essa was already the mate of Venix and was her alphess. He rose to his feet and snorted "And just so you know that Female is now your alphess, I suggest showing some respect wench" he snapped as he walked up to the female and flicked his ears back, Why did she have his scent all over her, He didnt remember ever meeting the female. It was as if his words caused her to deflate like a balloon. Her headstrong determined attitude ripped out from beneath her when he stripped her of her title of Betess. It was like being slapped in the face and instead of "melting" to the ground in shame, she allowed her haunches to slip onto the ground, her head bowed. It wasn't like she could protest her demotion. He was her Alpha after all and she had allowed her tongue to get carried away from her. The news that he had taken an Alphess already slightly shocked her, considering he had only met the female a short time. But who was she to question that as well? She pulled her ears back, looking nothing short of a disciplined pup. "I"ll do my best, Alpha..." she murmured, unable to allow her eyes to meet his, to show him the injustice he had done to her.

This was why she hardly joined packs. There was only ever one happy point and the rest was stripping you bare of all confidences and statuses. She had joined Sorek's pack, at the time, because she had been charmed and intrigued by Sorek himself, not by the lure of pack life. He had provided her with the Betess status due to his immaturity in leading a pack. He was fresh and hadn't a clue on how a pack was run. She had promised to help him in the hopes that things would escalate further between them. Instead, he had done just the opposite, leaving her to mourn after him and wonder why. She hadn't even had time to claim the pack before Venix had shown up and claimed everything. Not that she cared. She never wanted to lead a pack anyway. "Well..." she swallowed the pain in her voice and finally lifted her head to meet his gaze, trying to hold onto what little pride she had left. "Congratulations on your new mate. You two will do wonders for this pack." she said, flicking her tail till it was sitting beside her.

He wasnt a hard ass, he flicked his ears and then sighed some as he heard her say something about doing her best and watched as she lowered her head so her eyes were not meeting with his. He nudged her with his nose under her chin and and licked her cheek. He smirked and then took in a deep breath. "Savah please just try to accept this ok." he looked at where he had slept before and smiled. He then got up and motioned for her to follow him. He walked up to his spot and sat down and curled his tails around his paws. He looked up at the sky that was turning to night, and sighed some, he wouldnt make it back to the den before night fell. And he wasnt able to see during the night, at least not well. He laid down and crossed his paws over and laid his head down on his paws. "Wont you join me? At first, she had hated him, hated him and his arrogant big head who thought he could waltz in here and take over the pack as if he were the biggest piece of shit around but now? Now she was undecided. Sure, she could feel the tension between them that could spark a flame at any second but she couldn't deny the feelings she got when he attempted to make her feel better. She was still young, recently left her pack for adulthood and her emotions could easily switch at the lightest push. And she was beginning to think that Venix was pushing against that particular veiled wall. Either way, she couldn't just deny his demands. Even though he worded them in such a polite questioning way, she knew he wanted her to come with him. Declining his offer would only end in more tension created sparks. So instead, she frowned and stood, following him to a more secluded spot. In the darkness, it seemed as though only her pink markings were showing. Her blackness was totally enveloped by the night, causing her to be a strange sensation as she walked. But she wasn't paying attention to that. Instead, she swallowed fearfully before laying down beside him, a hairsbreadth from her fur touching his. "I can understand your reasoning." she said, hearing the strength and confidence returning to her voice. She would prove to him she could do it. Prove to him that she was able to help him defend their borders and, if the time came, lead his army. It gave her something to work for, something other than wandering aimlessly through the territory with her head in the clouds. "I will prove to you I am trustworthy and capable of protecting these lands." she told him, raising her chin with pride and turning her blue eyes on him, blue eyes that were such a beautiful contrast to the rest of her body. She looked up at the moon as it peeked out from behind the clouds and sudden felt vulnerable out here in the middle of the territory without a den to protect her. "But won't your mate miss you?" she whispered, suddenly wary that his mate, the new Alphess, would find them and rip her fur from her body without questioning. The thought terrified her. She didn't want to give off the wrong impression. But he was her Alpha right? She should feel safe and comfortable with him. He was there to protect her wasn't he? All of a sudden she felt heat rise in her cheeks and she had to look away from him as a blush crept into her face. Who cared what others thought this was? Maybe she wanted others to think that? Besides, she had gone after Sorek hadn't she? He smiled and then got up and sat next to her for a moment. He then heard her ask if his mate would miss him. She probably would but she would understand why he didnt come back to the den. After all he couldnt really see durin ght night time. He took in a deep breath as he could fell the night breeze sweeping over the lands. He shuddered and then walked back over to where he had slept once and laid right back down and shifted himself slightly as he needed to be comfertable. He then heard her say something about she would do her best to prove herself to him and he smiled softly "I am sure you will Savah, I dont doubt you at all" he said as he licked his front paws. he sighed and then shook his head slightly "She might but then again she will understand, since i cant really see durin the night hours. Which is why you dont see me out during the night" he said as he laid there It was something that he wasnt proud of after all wolves were suposed to have great night vison but he didnt. He flicked his ears and then laid his head down on his paws and sighed some. He wasnt sure what would happen between him and Savah but he knew something was to happen. And he knew that it would end up with a fight between him and Ivora if things went to where his mind was going. His old ways were creeping up on him and it would bit him on the ass if he wasnt careful. An Alpha who couldn't even see in the dark. She frowned. He would need someone he trusted to keep that secret. What if Nahani got a hold of that information? That would be the end of Crosul, she was sure. She swallowed, glancing at her Alpha. "Well, if it makes you feel better, I'll watch over you." she told him with a small smile. "It's one thing I can do to be well on my way to my old rank." she told him. She didn't know why she was fighting to protect her rank as Betess but when Sorek had anointed her with that rank it sort of... stuck. Now she couldn't see herself as anything else. Besides, as Lead Scout, it was still her duty to stay vigilant. She didn't need sleep. She would stay up all night, staring at the stars, listening to the lullaby of the night sounds and make sure her Alpha woke in the morning without a care in the world. She sighed and closed her baby blue eyes, allowing the lullaby of the night songs to gently lure her into a false sense of comfort. Crosul was so beautiful at night. It was a shame Venix couldn't appreciate it's glory. It was the jungle sounds, the rhythmic sound of the buzzing of crickets and other bugs and the soft songs of the night birds mixed with the running water of the many water ways around them and the breeze in the air that could put anyone on cloud nine. He heard Savah get close and he shifted his body closer towards her as he wanted to feel her body agasint his. He then heard her speak about how she would watch over him and how it was the one thing that would help her get her rank. He smirked and then nodded his head, it would be a way to regain her beta rank again though things could change at any moment. He took in a deep breath and then laid his head down on his paws and closed his crimson eyes slightly and then heard her speak once more, he looked up at the sky and smirked. He could see the stars and everything, just moving threw the lands during dark was hard for him to do. "I am able to see light, just cant see to move around the dark. I know how stunning this place, it is almost as stunning as you Savah" he said as he ran his pink tongue over her cheek, He was sure that Savah would jump at his touch but he needed to touch her. He soon rose up to a sitting postion and licked his lips and then looked down at the Ebony and magenta female. He folded his ears back and then nipped at the neck of the female, attempting to get her to be more willing to accept him. He lowered his front half down and began to lick the female very affectionaly as he laid there. He wanted to show the female that he was willing to try if she was. he then rose back up and looked arorund as he began to think of Ivora. He shook his head as he didnt want to think of the female yet, he would have to put her image away in his head till he was finished with Savah. He rolled over and placed his paw on her cheek and then moved to her shoulder and whinned as he wanted to have her attention directed at him and only him. He then licked her underside of her neck and let out a soft yip and growl as he wanted her. She couldn't deny the hidden language Venix was portraying. But she didn't know how to deal with it. What about his mate? What would happen to her? Would he protect her? She knew pups would come from this coupling and she couldn't deny the squeezing of her heart when she thought of them but she also didn't want to be pregnant and chased from the pack by the Alphess and have no where to go. He licked her cheek and nipped at her, acting like a young pup. She wagged her tail and nipped him back, finding herself agreeing to his advances. She got to her feet and tackled him, pretending to nip at his neck before jumping up and racing off, racing around their small tree a few times before coming back to him and laying down beside him, a happy whine escaping her. She couldn't deny being a female and having needs, whether he be her Alpha or not. He didn't seem all that cruel and had a feeling he would protect her and her unborn pups if his mate found her to be too much. She also knew that by mating with Venix, her need to be Betess would have to be put on hold for awhile. Without a mate, she would be forced to raise and feed the pups herself. She wouldn't have time for duties. She sighed, accepting this thought as well. She figured motherhood would be a lot more important than a simple Betess position. She leaned over and licked his cheek now, tell him she accepted his offer and whined softly, nuzzling into his neck, her whole body shaking with nerves and anticipation. She was ready for this. His tail wagged fercily behind him as she came back and laid down next to him. His tails curled up in a dominate position and his ears were fully perked forwards. His legs quivered under him as he walked up to her and yipped at her as he jumped slightly at her. His front paw pawed at her side and then his nose nuzzled her hackle as he walked around to behind her and sniffed at her slightly and then looked arorund and let out a growl as he wanted to make sure no one was around. He knew that what he was about to do was very wrong but it felt so right. He mounted savah and latched his fangs into her neck and pulled her down to him and he growled as he mated with the female. His whole body was shaking and yet he didnt want to stop. He sunk his fangs into a little to much and felt the blood of savah trickle into his mouth. He shook his head as he let go and finished with waht he was doing and dismounted the female and looked at her in horror. He had never been able to not control himself while mating and yet here he had bitten Savah to much and made her bleed. He walked up to where his fangs had made puncture wounds and he began to lick the female softly "I am sorry Savah, I dont know what happened" he said as he lowered his frame to her and rolled over onto his back and revealed his stomach. What was she doing?! This wasn't right! She had hoped to experience this with the male she loved, the male who stole her heart who she would provide a family for. Not with her Alpha! But too late. She didn't have a chance to change her mind as he grabbed her. She yipped as pain laced through her neck where he bit down too hard, tears bursting from her eyes. When he was done, she scrambled away from him, tail between her legs. She had heard all sorts of stories about mating but never had she heard of ones being painful. The fact that he had bit her stung, her pride stung and her feelings hurt. He came over to her and she hunkered down as an Omega would her Alpha and allowed him to lick them as he apologized. But her fear for him soon vanished as he rolled over on the ground beside her, showing his belly, as though they had just switched Omega and Alpha roles. She perked her ears up as she looked at him, water still in her eyes, making her eyes glitter beautifully. How could she muster attacking him? He was truly sorry and she was sure he had gotten lost in the moment. He was also making it harder for her to not love him as a mate. The bond they had just created usually brought lovers closer, made them remember why they loved each other but their mating was not for love and she had to rein in her emotions. Venix would never be hers, and she didn't want him. He was taken and she was keeping her heart open for someone else. She leaned over and licked him on the cheek. "It's okay...
