"I shall make you my Gamma, I think that fits you better then Scout Savah" he said as he contiued to lick and nuzzle the female. Though all of his affections were only to show how much he was sorry, he only hoped that the female didnt get any wrong idea's after all he had Ivora and he only wanted her. He rose to his feet and licked his maw and snorted some as he looked around. He didnt really want to be alone with the female much if others were going to appear and he knew that they would soon be showing he just knew it. He flicked his ears and then laid right back down and began to lick the female more. He soon leaned into her and let out a huffin noise as he liad there with her. He smirked and then got to his feet quickly and snapped at her in a playful manner and then bounded off barking and yipping like a pup. He darted this way and that as he ran threw the meadow with ease. He soon came to a stop as he looked down at the creek that ran threw the woods. Thinking back now, she felt a fool for falling for Venix's charms. Mating was supposed to be between a male and a female who loved each other. She was a fool to think there was something between them. Venix was just a man whore. What would the new Alphess think of them? What would she do to her? She put her paws over her face, covering her eyes as she whined. She wanted to run away and hide her shame but how could she? With a litter on the way, there was no way they would survive with just her in the wild as a loner. There were many number of things that could eat them or kill them when she left to hunt for herself. They would be unprotected without a father to protect them. So her only option? Stay here with her shame and hope that Venix would protect her pups against Ivora's wrath if it came to it. He laid down next to her and licked her softly, seeming to sooth her worries. She lifted her paws from her face and looked at him, with sad, confused eyes. "Gamma?" she repeated, blinking at him. "I suppose that could work..." she said, lifting her head from her paws. It wasn't Beta but at least she wasn't the lowest on the totem pole. At Gamma, she would be able to prove herself a worthy pack member to Ivora, no matter if she was having her mate's pups. When Venix stood up and pranced a few feet away, her tail wagged, the pain of her neck where he had bit her fading away, forgotten. What did she have to worry about? At least she wasn't raped and left in the wild as a loner. Here her pups could be well cared for and have a father who loved them. She yipped and raced after him as he ran off and she felt all her worries evaporating as they ran, side by side at first, before Savah leaned over and nipped at him in the shoulder and raced past him. However, she had to stop when she realized he wasn't with her anymore. She doubled back and found him taking a drink. She stood on the other side of the stream and lapped up water as well. When she lifted her head, she frowned, voicing the concern she had. He rose his head and felt the extra water fall from the sides of his mouth, he licked his lips and then shook his head slightly. He then heard her speak about how it would work to be the gamma. "Aye, It is like a beta, If the beta dies or is killed or captured then you take the spot of beta" he said as he looked at her and nudged her with his paw. He then sat down and laid his tails behind him and looked over the lands that he had called his. He then looked towards where the crazed wolves were and sighed, he still needed males for his pack. They were vital to the fight agasint Nahani, he flicked his gold and white ears and then looked down at Savah and smriked some "Honestly i dont know but i doubt she will notice if my scent is gone from your pelt, though even if she does i will deal with her." he said as he licked her softly Now even though Venix had sworn to Ivora that he only had eyes for her he couldnt help but feel something for the female that stayed when the pack dissapeared. He took in a deep breath and then shook hishead "Just so you know i will be there to help protect the pups.
