Compared to most other male wolves within his species. Onyx, rather is the formidable image of being underweight. Slightly smaller then most brute’s this has severed as a rather defined disability. Although, despite being physically miniature, he’s become more resisted and adaptive. Being sleek, balanced with a well toned athletic build has changed everything. Able to use his graceful, phantasmal moments to dash circles around larger more intimidating foes. Speed, agility, avoidance, and of course attrition have won this brute more confrontations then actually engaging in a true fight. His flexes are powered by nimble limbs; cover with a thick alabaster pelt, and splintering rows of fur that stand up when cornered. Gleaming, radiant hues, vigilantly sit aloft his apex. These hues seemingly whimsical beyond their time. Although, mainly, in truth--there really isn’t anything significant about this particular wolf. He’s nothing more then a survivalist in an uncaring world.

Don’t be scared now, close your eyes, she holds guard tonight
Go on forward, no remorse, life will take its course
Go on forward, no remorse, life will take its course
Onyx, unlike most hellions doesn’t have any given dispositions to indisputably demonstrate his dominance over others. Power was never something that he yearned for in life. Rather a very strong aspect of patience defines the core characteristics of this brute. The only other aspect of his personality that reinforces or demonstrates this portrait of patience would be his undying loyalty. No matter, who, what or whom, he’ll never sway from those who are cared for most. This incorporates a great deal of selflessness; being what gives him a sense of self-worth and inner serenity. Most other wolves believe that the role of being an outcast, loner and former submissive have to do with this selfless attitude. In theory this does play an important deterrent in explaining why, although it’s not the whole cause. Onyx would also best be described as a very sturdy, resistant against the extremes. It takes a great deal to enrage the particular brute. Harassment, fairly ever works. Although this doesn’t mean that he’s purely unreachable in causing him to fasten towards crudity. Watching another being or life form in any threshold of anguish--- which if the causation would be another entity deliberately inflicting it; then Onyx would recklessly attack. Needless to say if the attack targeted a pup, then there wouldn’t be any hesitation to strike down the opposition. Onyx portrays everything around him from a spiritualistic, almost shamanistic lifestyle. Believing land, forests, mountains, and all geographic phenomena within nature in some way have spirits or a spirit and that these spirits incorporate each aspect of life. His respect for life is the upmost characteristic. At his best, Onyx is naturally a merciful brute. Merely killing for the sake of surviving to live another day. Above all else, simply striking a conversation with the brute might best aid you in really getting to know everything about him.

It's all my state of mind
I can't leave it all behind
I have to stand up to be strongerOyxn’s pack used to have a saying, “The great workings on the earth where written before we came to be.” Of course this reminiscing passage was carried to all members of the pack. Established by an elder alpha female the Septentrionalis pack thrived. Far from the reaches of war, famine, or even contact with others packs the Septentrionalis had developed on a spiritualistic community. Although the pack enjoyed the moderate comforts of peace it also knew that change was eventually going to occur. Isolated by miles of convenient tundra, mountain, and alpine forestlands, most wolves from the wayward pack began venturing out. When the pack began thinning, loyalty to the old female alpha began to decline rapidly. Beneath the old alpha was a young more eager beta who had awaited the chance to overthrow the current female alpha. The beta and several other loyalists had managed to ambush the alpha and a few other members of their pack while on a caribou hunt. The battle it’s self was a massacre only leaving two wolves alive. While the beta male and female rejoiced at the victory, Oyxn’s father whose calling was Nocturne had managed to survive the skirmish managed to arrive back at the pack den’s with ill-fated demise. Dishearten by the remaining betrayal, Nocturne along with five other remaining wolves loyal to the old female rose up. Rather than continue the conflict, Nocturne demanded that the traitor’s be exiled. Although this never occurred and a war abruptly began between the fighting loyalists and those who had wanted to establish new control over the Septentrionalis pack. Despite having the blood feud, it wasn’t until Alora one of the pack’s shamans stepped in that the feud ended.
Shattered, broken, the pack as a whole had defiled the land that was their given birthright. Years of infighting had resulted in damaging the very thing that the pack had sworn to protect. A tried and divided pack was once more reunited under the control of the shamans. A new alpha was chosen seeing as the former old alpha hadn’t chosen a mate nor had any bloodlines to carry on the leadership. Those that had formerly presided over the blood feud had been exiled into the lands Tarterus. A vague and roughly unfamiliar territory considering the isolated Septentrionalis pack hadn’t had any contact with outsiders. Although stories were told about the territory, and many speculations arose from the occasional loner’s who found themselves venturing through the mountainous regions and eventually onto the lands of the tundra. What certainly remained clear was that a war and conflict where brewing in the far distant lands of Tarterus.. Having had enough of a skirmish within their own ranks another conflict for the Septentrionalis pack would have resulted in dangerous conditions. Feeling a need to keep the pack as awhole grounded, Nocturne also now seen as a war hero by many was chosen to take the position as the new Alpha. Under the guardianship of his command the pack remained united against all the most unthinkable odds. Alongside his mate Alora and her spiritual beliefs the scar that had plagued the pack land’s healed. Onyx was born during this interval of restoration. Food was plentiful and the pack rejoiced at the possible heirs who would hopefully lead the Septenionalis and continue the golden age that reigned.
Although not all stories are written with happy endings that make an individual want to have hope. Fact of matter Oxyn’s birth was bittersweet. Born the weakest and most venerable; merely being the runt of a litter of three it became increasingly difficult for his survival. Alora had feared that on the night of his birth that he wouldn’t have survived the night. In the years that followed behind. While his brother and sister was taught the art of defending the pack and fighting. Oxyn was still too frail in comparison, which ultimately left without the chance to spar or train. When the other members of the pack would hunt he was denied the opportunity or obligation. It was Alora who took on the responsibility for Oxyn’s shortcomings. Despite being the frailest of his siblings, she brought the wayward hellion into the shamanism. Through this he was tutored on how to be resourceful. His spirituality morphed into the cliché that single handily ensured that everything would eventually fall into place. His final task, which foreshadowed ominous events on the horizon, was an encounter with a spirit guide. In a meditated vision a crow approached in a dream. The symbolical bird leads the young hellion through a series of obsidian colored thickets until he reached an opened meadow. Several disfigured and unknown wolves presided in the centerfold on those thick emerald grasses. One breathing, whist the other lay bloodied and lifeless. Upon closer expectation the obsidian clad avian revealed the standing brute to be none other than Steel. These foretelling brought a prediction that haunted Oxyn.
In those finalized recollections a dark thought was brewing within the confines of his consciousness. Touched, ravaged with the truth and having the ability of prevent the tragic events from unfolding Oxyn set out to search for both siblings. Steel had recently leaded a small unit on a hunt away from the pack lands. With Steel’s overconfidence beaming he had manage to lead the unit astray. The unit as a whole had unanimously reached the decision to rest for the night and this meant the perfect opportunity for the insidious brute to enact ill-fated intentions. Simultaneously as Steel attacked and managed to ensnare Luna’s throat. Oyxn arrived after hours of tracking the familiar scent of his traitorous brother. The vision had been extremely accurate and factual. Unable to control the calamity or rage that had climaxed, Onyx launched forth knocking the much larger mass of his brother to the terrain below. Steel held several advantages in strength, speed, and endurance. Using these advantages with extreme proficiency, Steel had managed to bypass all of his sibling’s clumsy strikes. In the aftermath of Onyx’s attacks, Steel pinned his counterpart to the terrain below. If not for the echoing howls and the wind not caring the fleeting noise, then the slumbering unit nearby wouldn’t have awoken. It was this one element that would be the savior that recused the young brute from a premature death.
Injured and incapable reaching out for aid the recusing unit of wolves intervened. Repelling the attack and sending the overwhelmed Steel into the nearby pine thicket. It was uncertain if Oynx would see the morning light at all. Then darkness sank in and everything else was merely phantasmal in comparison. For a second time the Crow remerged from the darkness and merely illuminated a single spot of light in which displayed Steel. That was all he could remember before waking up surrounded by both his father and mother. In the days that followed he couldn’t understand why the tragic events had occurred. The guilt for not being capable of preventing this tragedy consumed the majority of what had brought the brute peace. Deciding to embark into solitude, Oyxn left his pack lands behind. Two years passed hastily, and in that amount of time his travel’s had taken him across the continent Tarterus. His burdens of remembrance lifted leaving merely the renewed convictions in his spirituality that brought some comfort. Although the lingering guilt occasionally still manifests, Oyxn has sworn not to allow anyone else to endure the horrors of betrayal or to be manipulated. Light most outshine the most darkest veils after all.

Whist sitting in the booth, his hues hadn’t deterred from Annallee’s for the majority of the beginning conversation. Earthen eyes reflected the softness from the bakery lights, his eyes never disconnecting between them both. A lingering scent of foods circled around, but the food didn’t bother to entice him anymore. Further more, he just needed the distraction for a slight bit. Since channeling his business from behind the desk, he wasn’t entirely certain of where to go. Surely, he’d be able to leave, but the current chat at hand was important. That and it would’ve been impolite to leave under the circumstances. It delighted him, to sit down and meet people. Once someone interesting tended to gain his attention, Nathaniel had the terrible habit, but enjoyed it all at once. To study and learn to understand a person, that was how things worked. His hands resided on his lap, calmly resting without the troubled sensation of checking his cell-phone. He didn’t understand the modern usage of technology. Everyone fiddled with texting, getting a random massage that randomly enclosed someone off from the rest of society. If he disliked something in particular, then it had to be anything electrical. He used his phone for merely a few particular things, informing others, and calls, but he was more traditional then those around him. He was an angel after all, he tried hard to remind himself of that more then often. Even though he constantly loved the humans, he couldn’t forget his own origins. At the thought, he felt the eagerness of wings slightly move, however restricted to only being folded beneath his back.
He’d watched her speak, she still seemed troubled; though that was the cause of something else in her mind, he had to admit that the food was wonderful. Vocals softly stole the atmosphere,“Well, please do.” She mentioned not being allowed into the kitchen, then whoever else had made the food was definitely the thing that caught him, what else would have brought him here. Was is a merely a set of coincidences altogether? Either way, his mind was intrigued in the conversation. Her hands toyed with the card he’d laid out earlier before going to eat his meal. He looked into the emptiness of bowl, then returned the genuineness of her own smile within his own. It was the most reassuring thing he had, but it faded as he crept back into reality of the bakery around him. His hues looked for some kind of sort trickery, a bit of deceit in the outline of her features, but could find absolutely nothing to indicate it. Then he realized, even he had kept his own personal experiences behind a veil. Fact of the matter was that he hadn’t truly thought about the past, it wasn’t like him to be divided, but he too had weakness. To admit such things would only make him stronger. Nathaniel hadn’t mourned his losses, he often had put off the ideas of family, his own kinship. Since he’d put the war far behind him, he hadn’t for any instance considered the former disasters. His brother and all of his family had been taken captive by demons, but still he held no harboring for the species, he felt his hands tremble slightly at the idea, his hands slipping off of his lap. He’d found himself distracted by the memory, it had caused him much fear and probably the only time in his life when he felt such. His name was merely another shred of evidence from his angelic past heritage. Her words about his parents scurried the orders of his words, but it didn’t withdrawal him from the present. His voice remained lovely. “My family was dear to me, and the name was passed down in homage and honor of my father’s brother. My uncle. “ His uncle had laid the foundations for the family bloodlines, he was the legendary healer who had founded the place that his group of angelic healers had called home. It played with him for a moment, he’d found the persistence in doing what he did. Again, it was more then merely an occupation, the practices that he participated in were more in depth that the humans would understand, it might even scare them. Nathaniel was no such character to things that would instill fear into strangers. So, he found the human practice along with his mental whims to aid the mentally ill.
“Sadly, their was a particular case a very long time ago and a young man whom I apparently wasn’t able to reach. “ Disappointment caught him, his voice softened under the influence as he continued to speak, his eyes expressed an entirely different tale.“The young lad was troubled, he’d lost his mother in an vehicle accident. At first it was nearly impossible to reach him, but with time came the pitfalls.”Truthfully he hadn’t made preparations for would come from attempting to fix a lost soul, it motivated him. Though the events had been rather recent, fairly rarely had he wanted to talk about that chapter in his life. It had mainly been treasonable to the occupation by getting close to a client, but it was something that he felt was necessary during the time. His eyes shut slowly, reforming the images to the past as he weaved the story into reality. Much more similar to a flashback, his hands traveled back onto his lap as he exhaled softly, but the stillness around him only brushed an unusual scent about. Flooding over with the delicate aromas of rosewater. Naturally, he preferred the more earthy colognes. The mistake of getting so close to that of those he worked with, specially the young man on his first year was indeed a life lesson on morality. With him being devoted to all aspects of his livelihood. He recalled spending time with the family, he’d been invited into the home on several occasions, Nathaniel grew close the people that had called on his services. “To the family that remained for the young man, I managed to get involved with every part of his life to be of assistance. "He paused to look at her features, a clear bit of uncertainty filled his own. He knew that from only being around her for a few minutes during this meeting, she was someone that could be trusted completely. This trait he approached with respect, and retained his former beauty in his features. “He had the type of personality for attracting the wrong people”With the expression after the last words, his voice let a soft sigh slip from both lips. “During a walk home I heard gunfire, instinctively heading to the source of the sound, to be certain that someone was alright, that’s when I found the young man. Anthony laid there on the ground lifeless, I tried to revive him, but to no avail.”He’ broke his gaze with her, obviously knowing that the story he was speaking of was causing him to rethink about it all. The fact that he was truthful in nature made it even more difficult to hold back a lie, he shared that story only in mere pieces, it had been the first time in awhile since the focuses had turned to him, he mainly denied the spotlight. An uneasy feeling rose within his depths, causing him to look out the window for a few seconds.
The snow fell lightly now, hitting the ground with fairly little impact. The outlining of silver told another forlorn history. His wings itched somewhat, wanting to taste the warmth of radiant sunlight. To remove the stresses of the now, he looked distantly outwards for some sort of beckon of familiarity, but his voice continued automatically without restriction. “Life is to short, cruel at times, but it’s only if we choose to learn from agony that we better ourselves.” His deeper thinking side revealing it’s self, he watched as the snow befell the ground, covering every corner of the neighboring pavement, his hands clasped together on the table as he turned to look at Annallee once more. His features seemingly conflicted, but he managed to light his features up again with the final words that echoed from him. “It strengthens us, I suppose.” He hadn’t meant to craft his past ordeal into a tragic story, but it had helped him further his life.“Because we’ve just begun to live… Sometimes we tire to envision the angels inside the hearts of people. ”His beliefs in the goodness of people still resided through the thickness of the trials that he’d endured. The world around them continued without interruptions, more people entering the bakery. Warmth, food, and a haven welcoming them into the arms of the place. The women stilled remained preoccupied now with cleaning the tables, the noise and business. She seemed amazed by his words, he only now let silence do the rest of what it had to do. Nathaniel had gone through quite a lot and battled it constantly. To wage war in an extremely different manner.
